Does its job well.
Good product. Material is soft easy to use. Smelled like a new product should. Dudes exactly what is says it will do, heat my bed up. Cords are perfect length. Cover stays in place like it should.

Almost Perfect
I bought this last year but waited until now to review, as I was very happy with my previous mattress pad until I took it out for the second winter, and the heating elements no longer worked. I have had no such issues with this! The mattress pad was carefully folded and put in storage, and when taken out, worked perfectly. Things that set this mattress pad apart from others: Both the wires and padding around it are thicker. I have sensory issues that can make it hard for me to fall asleep, and I was never kept awake by the feeling of the wires. Heats quickly - I feel the warmth almost immediately after turning it on. A single controller - as a single person in a queen bed, I appreciated the ability for me to purchase a single controller, so I did not have to twiddle with two different ones to heat my whole bed. Durability - good instructions, product lasted longer than the more common brand. A couple of things that would make this perfect: Controller still wired to face a particular direction, which is coincidentally the opposite direction that works for my bed configuration. I really like that the top foot or so of the bed does not have heating elements, but I wish it were zoned from top to bottom. I never need heat from the waist up, but my legs and feet are practically blocks of ice. If I fall asleep while the mattress pad is on, I will wake up in the middle of the night sweaty and uncomfortable. This could also be ameliorated by a timer function. I'd love to be able to set it to heat for an hour, and then switch off (or switch to a lower setting). All in all, this is a great product, and well worth the money. I have recommended it to multiple people. If you are on the fence about the higher cost, know that there's a good chance you will be replacing that "cheaper" model after a year anyway.

Better than Sunbeam, and
I had a dual control Sunbeam heated mattress pad that failed after a few years of use. When I searched Amazon for a replacement, I found this Electrowarmth mattress pad with a similar price point. However, when I found out that Electrowarmth is made in the USA, I decided to give it a try instead of just getting an exact-replacement Sunbeam pad. I am very glad I did. The Electrowarmth pad has dual controls, like the Sunbeam, but each control goes to its own plug at the bottom of the pad. The Sunbeam had a single attachment point on the pad. The single plug had two output cables that went to the left and right sides, but were not well identified as to which control was for which side. Several times with the Sunbeam, I would get the left side control and the right side control switched, and then my wife would turn on what she thought was her control but my side would heat up. Since she likes a warmer bed than I do, I would cook while she was chilly. The Electrowarmth warms up the mattress quickly. When I turn on my control, my bed side is comfy within 5 minutes. The Sunbeam heater would take at least 15 minutes to heat up to a comfortable level. The Electrowarmth controller seems very reliable. The Sunbeam controllers had a habit of displaying "FF" on both screens at least once a week. When the FF code appears on the Sunbeam controllers, the wall plug must be removed and reinserted to clear the error message. A word about customer service: One of my controllers had some sort of electrical problem so that it would not turn on. This problem appeared about a week after the pad was installed. I wrote to Electrowarmth and explained the problem. They sent out a replacement controller within 24 hours, and at no extra cost to me, not even for shipping. I did not have to return the defective controller (which includes the cable), either. I am very pleased with the Electrowarmth mattress pad and can recommend it.
