SNES style controller (nano)
I used my old Dualshock 3 controller but wanted something less bulky and a lot more portable to get my mobile gaming/retro emulation fix. Small and initially awkward to hold, I got used to the size after a few days. Buttons feel nice to press. At times my thumb will slip and hit the start button. I get a kick out of friends' reactions when I show it and they comment how tiny it is. Using it as a remote camera shutter is neat. No complaints about battery life. Lasts for a few days of continuous use. Charge it with through micro-USB for a bit and you're good to go again. It operates only in Bluetooth so you cannot make a hardwired connection to a USB port. For iOS devices, as it's not MFI compatible, most games with controller support will not work. A device with iOS jailbroken, with the Controllers for All tweak, and the controller set to keyboard mode, and after some configuration then it can work as a MFI controller. The downside is the onscreen keyboard will not popup (inputting a name in an RPG or high score) as iOS thinks it is using a wireless keyboard and you must disconnect the controller for the onscreen keyboard will popup. The controller's keyboard mode keys are hardcoded and cannot be changed unlike the other 8Bitdo models and each game/application has to be configured. I found it odd that WASD wasn't used for the directional buttons. I find the controller fine for RPGs and moderate action games. It's not really suitable in fighting games but it is do-able. The controller only remembers one Bluetooth device so you must unpair/pair devices to switch between phone, tablet, laptop, etc.

Works GREAT with Final Fantasy IX for Android and emulators!
I mainly bought this so I can play the new Final Fantasy IX for Android and IT WORKS! On a minor negative note, it did not work with the in-game card games. It's no big deal since I'd rather use the touchscreen for that, anyway. I had bought a similar product before this one that had wonky directional keys and did not work well with FFIX. This product also works GREAT with emulators and side-scrollers, which the mini gamepads with the circular directional pad sucked with. If you end up not wanting to buy this gamepad, I warn DO NOT BUY ONE WITH A CIRCULAR DIRECTIONAL PAD. Pressing left/right also triggers up/down most of the time. The + directional pad like the one on this product is the way to go!

For as tiny as it is, it's surprisingly good.
It's very small (about 1" high by 2" wide) but it works quite well even for my big hands (at least the face buttons do, the shoulder buttons are a bit stiff/clicky and awkward to press.) It works perfectly well with my rooted Kindle Fire HD (KFTT), at least for apps that support a game controller. I was not able to get it to work with my Windows 7 PC, and I couldn't get it to connect in 'emu-touch' mode with my tablet. As it is, it's good for emulators and other games that don't need analog sticks or a second pair of shoulder buttons. Edit: Connects fine to my PC after updating to Windows 10.

The size work against it.
Fun little device. WAS NOT expecting it to be so small. I have a few quibbles with it (which i will list below) but overall after buying it, I am not sure what I'm going to use this for. Pros: -Bluetooth. Doesnt drop connection and is pretty darn responsive -Portable. It is definitely small enough to cart around with you, wherever you go. -Button Layout traditional layout that all oldschool gamers will recognize. Cons: -Its small....like REALLY SMALL. originally bought this so my 4 year old would have a controller she could easily use to play mario and such but its may be too small for even her. -Being so small also makes the D-pad hard to use. its a mash up of the 360 d-pad and an oldschool dpad so it float around a lot. takes som real getting used to. If you want a ridiculously small controller to put on a keychain then this is for you. If you are looking for something thats actually usable to a normal person i would just go with a regular bluetooth controller.

Button Firmware Wrong, Button Functionality Missing (Cannot be Updated or Changed)
Was promised by seller that the X button was actually mapped correctly so I took a chance (I had previously bought one before). When I got it and was testing the buttons I discovered that the firmware of this controller (and all of these, apparently) has been programmed incorrectly. If you want a controller that has missing buttons (like you can't jump or attack when you play a game) then by all means have at it. I went to the website where they offer no support or even give you the ability to modify and correct the firmware mistake yourself. The construction, the feel, almost everything about this controller is fantastic. But it doesn't work. So 0/5.

Great little controller
Great little controller, feels surprisingly comfortable in the hands. Long battery life, buttons and D-pad feel great and responsive. I use it for emulation on my phone, way better than touchscreen controls. Plus, the tiny form factor lets me take it anywhere. Definitely recommend it, especially for the price.

I bought this controller because 8bitdo has a good reputation for quality controllers
I was a little concerned about the size of this gamepad when I first ordered it, but after getting quite a bit of play time on it, I can say the worries were unfounded. The small gamepad fits just right in my average sized guy hands. I bought this controller because 8bitdo has a good reputation for quality controllers. I was frustrated after buying one of those cheap Chinese generic bluetooth gamepads that had horrible buttons and made playing games a nightmare. This controller was a breath of fresh air in comparison. The buttons feel really great to press. My only complaint is that sometimes it's a little difficult to get the controller to pair to my phone.

Piccolissimo!
Volevo un controller di dimensioni ridotte per essere facilmente trasportabile, questo è talmente piccolo che con le mie dita tozze a volte faccio un po' fatica, ma mio figlio di 6 anni ne è entusiasta!

Solid controller
Small but solid controller. Pairing takes a bit to understand but after that works with no problems

Fantastic Portable Controller
This is a great little controller. It fit's nicely in the 5th pocket of a pair of jeans, and even comes with a tiny USB cord that matches it's aesthetic. I was originally worried that the controller would be way too small for my hands and I'd have to really cramp them up to use it, but it's actually really comfortable to hold and the buttons have a satisfying feeling. I've used it with a tablet, a phone, and a raspberry pi 3, and it's worked great with all three, and was even automatically detected by the program I was using with it (RetroArch). Overall, I couldn't be happier with it.

Bastante bueno
