A excellent value for money product which gives a steady LAN network connection, in my case with Windows 11, when my previous adapter kept dropping out due I think to Windows network driver updates ! No trouble installing, just plug and play as it says on the box, with windows driver compatibility. Functions well and has an internal led to indicate connectivity.

No idea how anyone could criticise this, unless they were sent the wrong device. It's cheap, small, well-made, fast and totally reliable. You plug it in, it works. End of. And nice that the USB C connector can be clipped into the body of the device. Provides gigabit ethernet to any USB C port. Tried it on PC, Mac, Macbook Pro, and Android phone and it worked on all of them without installing anything. IT's got a AX88179B chipset if that matters to anyone.

ATTENTION: Well made adapter but check its suitability as it does not work with all android devices especially A11+ NOTE: The WHITE plastic Models UE300c and UE300 claim to use the RTL8153 chipset The BLACK plastic Model UE306 claims to use the AX88179 chipset SUMMARY This is a reasonable well made adapter which works with SOME android devices but not all. In my case it works with 1) a Samsung R35 phone running Android 16 2) and Galaxy Tab A running android 11 3) BUT it does not work with the new Galaxy A11+ tablet also running android 16 The adapter labelling says that the hardware is version 2. The version number is not mentioned in any product literature or elsewhere - this is an critical omission as this information is important to the buying decision Version 2 hardware is understood to use the ASIX AX88179A chipset. The Version 1 adapter is understood to use the Realtek RTL8153 chipset. The Realtek RTL8153 chipset is believed to be more compatible with more android devices and versions. I needed an adapter which works with an A11+ tablet and therefore need an adapter which used the Realtek chipset. TP Link is a good brand but unlike other brands of adapter this version of the hardware does not use the RealTek chipset. So it is important to confirm before purchase that the V2 ASIX AX88179A chipset is compatible with your device VALUE: The price point (£9.99) is good value if this adapter works with your devices. The make quality and packaging justify this price point. A lower price point would represent a very good buy - if it works MY NEED: I needed a USB C to Ethernet Adapter to connect a Galaxy A11+ tablet to the internet in a location where there was no Wi-Fi. CONSTRUCTION: The adapter is well made and well packaged.

I bought this adapter to ensure a stable, high-speed wired connection for my computer, and it performs perfectly. It was truly plug-and-play; as soon as I connected it, I saw a massive jump in download speeds and a much more stable ping for video calls and large file transfers compared to my wireless setup. The build quality is solid, and the foldable cord design makes it very portable for tossing in a laptop bag. It handles Gigabit speeds without breaking a sweat and doesn’t seem to overheat even during heavy use. My only minor gripe isn't with the hardware itself, but with the product listing. It’s a bit of a pity about the title mentioning WiFi; this is strictly a wired Ethernet adapter. Including "WiFi" in the name is quite misleading for anyone specifically looking for a wireless dongle. Pros: Instant setup (Plug & Play) Reliable Gigabit speeds Compact, travel-friendly design Cons: Confusing product title (it’s for wired connections only!) If you need a reliable LAN port for your laptop or desktop, this is the one to get. Just don't let the "WiFi" in the title fool you—this is all about that sweet, stable cable life!

It’s a great product at a great price, and it works better than I expected. Being my Ethernet connection to my laptop was faulty. Happy days 👍

Excellent adaptor which worked immediately when plugged in. Throughput speed is also very good indeed. Highly recommended.

If you’ve got a slim laptop with no ethernet port on it's edge, then this is great for getting a full speed ethernet connection (not having a rely on wifi). Works a treat in the 2-3 laptops I've tried it on so far. Easy 5 star.

Mis-described - its not wifi. Works fine however despite being USB its still funnels the link through your PC's Ethernet adaptor so can only achieve the speed that's rated for - IE if your on-board ethernet adaptor is 100mbps then this item will not provide more than that despite being rated for 1000mbps. You need to use a USB wireless adaptor (TP Link Archer TX20u) to escape the Ethernet limit.

Phenomenal product! After going through 2 different brands of USB Ethernet Adapters I finally found this one which is compatible with my Hisense U8 TV! Prior to using this product my Hisense U8 was capped at 100 mbps and this helped me utilize the full power of my internet and boost it to my plans 500 mbps with the use of a simple cat 8 Ethernet cable which I plugged into this product. Highly recommended if you use a Hisense U8 as it bypasses the restrictive 100 mbps limit and uncaps it automatically. I will buy another in the future just to have extra, this is a must buy for Hisense TV owners to utilize your full internet power.

It's worth the price and works well. I like that it's a USB c connection so it doesn't take up any of the other USB ports. I definitely recommend.
