I can be really picky about pens. When others were in love with the Pilot G-2s, I found them to write more drily (thus skipping more frequently) than Zebra Sarasas. After years of faithful Sarasa adherence, it seemed like their formula changed, and they, too, were sticking and skipping instead of writing smoothly. For several years now I’ve been using the Pentel Energel, which is a great pen! However, I was recently delighted by the colors, quality and writing experience of the Bic Gelocity pens. The entire length of the pen is a soft material with good grip (maybe rubber or silicone?), so no matter how you hold it, it should be comfortable for you. To me it looks and feels slightly “cheaper” than the Energels, but all doubts fade away when I write or draw with it! It has a smooth flow, and you can see in the comparison images that the ink is slightly more opaque than the Energel. Because it seems wetter, the 0.7 Gelocity does make a slightly wider line than the 0.7 Energel, so for when I need a finer point I might reach for the Energel. But overall, I am loving these Gelocity pens! I highly recommend them.

I discovered this product while searching for pens for my third grader. They are bold, easy to write with- no matter the angle, and comfortable to hold. Since then, this has become the only set of pens we buy and use. I have tried other pens, even from the same brand, mostly due to price, but we always return to this one. Every time it goes on sale, I make sure to stock up!

Smooth writing and comfortable to hold

My daughter told me about these particular ones. They don't skip, they are smooth, don't smear, lots of colors and a few extras of the popular ones. (black and red I think? I don't have them in front of me) I told her I don't need ALL those colors...she said, "Yes, you do!!" They really are great.

I love to use these pens as they are so bright and colorful, They write extremely well and I always run them out of ink.

Love the colors

I am a homeschooling mom to two teens. I write out lesson plans and grade school work. I love the vibrancy of these pens. They are a fan fav for sure. What they lack - can't seem to find ALL the colors as refills. @Bic - these pens are worth the refills. Please make it so we can have ALL the colors. My favs are forest green, purple, and navy blue. Enjoyable, if you use them a lot on the daily, will run out soon. Got these in August and only have a few left with ink.
