Better Quality Than I Expected
I was hesitant about ordering a model from this company, but I am happy to report that the model is exceptional in its quality. Fine detail, extensive panel lines, and clear instructions are welcome extras. The instructions are in Russian, but the pictures and diagrams made assembly a snap. Very pleased with the product and the delivery time.

A large star wars ship
What a fantastic and large model to make. I added lighting to the star destroyer and it looks great when it is lighted up. Good value for the money and cheaper than other manufactures of the same model.

AMAZING MODEL KIT!!!
I haven't built it yet, but did take a look at the parts. Looks like going to be a nice project! Love the details and hopefully going to light it up. :)

Best Star Destroyer for the money
For newbies...----------------The Zvesda 2700 and the Revell 2700 star destroyers are identical. They are both made by Zvesday and Revell put their own branding on it for resale. The details are exceptional. The fit is perfect. The language of the instructions is irrelevant, just look at the build illustrations, and use Google Translate app on your phone to confirm any words you think might be crucial.Use Tamiya extra thin glue for every part, except for the biggest glue seams (the ones that go all the way down both side trenches) for which you'll want the Tamiya extra-THICK glue because it gives you a longer working time. Thin glues will dry before you can get glue all the way down those edge pieces. If you trim and sand the parts carefully the will all fit perfectly. Just press hard and long enough for the bonds to weld properly - about 45 seconds - and you won't have to fill any seams. The stands aren't great. I encourage you to build your own (have fun!)For experts:--------------There can be a ton of mold-release on these parts so definitely clean them well and prime them. The panel lines are not deep enough for many layers of paint. Just do one layer of white primer(Tamiya is recommended), then a clear gloss coat, then alternate panel colors (not overly necessary), then panel lines, dark washes and weathering. Then once you're all done with everything, then one final layer of matte clear. The panel lines will be full and need to be rescribed if you add more than 4 layers of paint before doing the panel lines, etc.Add some more panel lines if you want to. It will only make it look cooler. There really aren't quite enough of them and many of them are too shallow. But definitely watch some videos on how to do it for these models. It's not as precise or as difficult as it is for airplane models, but should still be done with a modicum of restraint. It's easy to do too many or go too deep, or cut across other panel lines in ways that look amateur.Consider replacing certain parts with pieces from 3rd party parts expert like "Green Strawberry" or "Shapeways".Parts that are better from 3rd party groups:1. engine bells -- the upgrade from Green Strawberry is excellent2. engine bell rings --the upgrade from Green Strawberry is excellent3. engine baffles --these don't exist in the Zvesda kit, but do NOT use the photo-etch brass version from Green Strawberry, they are incredibly hard to fold. Go to Shapeways and you'll be very happy.4. Garbage chute --the photo-etch piece from Green Strawberry was difficult but looks fantastic - ESPECIALLY if you light it carefully from inside.5. The main hanger --the model kit version is not screen accurate by any stretch of the imagination. At a glance it looks fine, but the fore and aft walls aren't accurate at all. The green stawberry photo-etch hanger includes inner hangers and looks amazing, but honestly, I didn't have the patience for the photo-etch. I just built my own inner hangers out of evergreen strips. I also bought a hanger from Shapeways but the details on the original kit part were crisper. The Shapeways hanger had more detail but the layer lines destroyed the illusion of scale. Always zoom in on the example photos.6. Shield generators --the globes on top of the bridge - the kit parts are awful. Go to shape ways and order the best ones you can find. The ones from Green Strawberry required an insane amount of detail that can't be implemented without a microscope. They are just too difficult.7. Detail bits -from Greenstrawberry you can get lots of tiny detail plates that are PE brass, but don't require folding, and those are great. Most of these tiny detail brass parts come in larger packages (like the infuriating engine baffles) but even if you only use 20% of the package, they are worth it.LIGHTING is key, but that's for another post.

That's a lot of Star Destroyer!!
This thing is huge and not too complex, just needs gallons of glue. Always shop around for deals.

Really big ship
Really big ship, worth the money. (Instructions are all in Russian though, but that was expected and the pictures are clear enough to use on their own.
