Set up might be annoying, but worth it!
Works great with stepmania on PC. There was a small learning curve getting familiar with the non-arrow buttons and figuring out how to use them. But after some time playing around with it, you can get the hang of it!

Absolute Landfill Garbage
Piece of trash. Bought it for a trip and it lasted exactly one song, and now hitting the center triggers the down arrow and none of the other arrows do anything. Iโm now overseas and canโt return it despite being in the return period. Now I get to throw it in a landfill and choke some poor animals to death or contribute to our blood microplastics levels. Shame on you. No wonder it says โstay coolโ; thatโs what youโll have to do after it soils itself.

Very good!
Works well! Lots of fun using step mania to play DDR. Does move so recommend some Matt underneath and wanting to get a Matt to go in the pad to help.

Works well with stepmania and outfox. a lot of fun but definitely not a super permanent part.

Good but Short Lifespan
Hard/expert player but needed a folding mat to accommodate my small urban living space. Worked great for the first 2 months. Then, at least one of the arrow buttons stopped working and I have to order a new one roughly every 3 months. Annoying because I used to have the same mat and it lasted many years before it broke.

Can't stop won't stop
Sensors all worked well, I kind of followed what another reviewer did and turned this mat into more of a board. Except I used some really thick sturdy cardboard that I had lying around as the base followed by the mat and topped with a clear plastic cover that I got for cheap at walmart. It was all neatly taped together with black duck tape.

Stopped working after 6 weeks, maybe weekly use
Back arrow works 30% of the time after probably 10 sessions playing. And Iโm not overweight or wildly stomping. 30 day return window may not be coincidence. Maybe try a more expensive seller

Works, but not the best quality.
Works, but back alredy torn after 2 days... So it definitely works with ITGMania or StepMania, the latency is minimal, however the material is not the best. After 2 days of dancing on it, the back is worn and I could see the innards of the thing. I ended up going to bunnings and bought a piece of plywood and a clear acrylic table cloth, with a bit of double sided tape I enclosed the whole thing and now it's much better. If anyone's interesed in how to do this, let me know and I can create a how-to guide.
