This lunch box is honestly such great quality. The compartments are the perfect size for toddler meals, and the leak-proof seal actually works even with juicy fruits and sauces. I love that it comes with a removable ice pack that keeps everything cold without taking up space. The lid snaps securely but is still easy enough for my toddler to open on their own. Cleanup is super simple too. Overall, really happy with it and would definitely buy again.

Love these lunch boxes! I have for both of my kids and use them everyday. I love that the compartments are spacious and it comes with a freezer tray attachment. It keeps items cold for several hours.

If this were just a little bigger, I would say it's just about the perfect lunchbox for kids. My 4th grader has been using it for a couple months now and he really likes it. The removable/freezable tray helps keep his lunch cold until it's time to eat. My son has autism and ADHD and he doesn't like the different foods to touch each other in his lunch box, so the compartments are great. He also eats pretty much the same thing every day: protein bar, some chips, cut up apples and baby carrots and a few little cookies. As you can see from the pictures, it all fits pretty nicely, except for the chips. If the box were just a half inch larger and the smallest compartments were a bit larger it would be easier to fit full sized chips or crackers without having to break them up. That being said, I love that this box doesn't leak and helps maintain freshness with the produce (the apples don't brown), is easy to clean (I don't do lunch boxes that aren't dishwasher friendly) and can be thrown in a backpack on its own, or into a regular sized lunch box or bag, along with a drink pouch, which is what we do. It fits in just fine, with plenty of room to spare, as you can see from the pictures, which is why I feel like it could stand to be a little larger. It has held up very well so far and I'm really happy with the purchase! I can definitely recommend. I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for it. The Chill pack is great. It is more convenient than using individual ice blocks in the lunch bag. It keeps fruits and veggies chilled (not cold, but chilled) nicely until lunchtime. It does add a little extra weight to the lunchbox, but not significantly more than slim ice blocks would. The size of the food sections is bigger than the ones in a lunch box without the chill pack. - And I find these slightly larger sections make for a better serving size. The lid on the chill-pack lunch box opens straight up, but does NOT open all the way to lay flat. It’s not a major problem, but it is clearly easier to pack the non-chill-pack boxes which open flat. All three of my kids have one of each type of lunch box. We switch types with the seasons, using the chill pack boxes during the warmer months - to school, sports, pool, etc. All of our Bentgo lunchboxes look like new. I do hand wash them, but it’s quick and easy. Super durable. Latches and seal work great after two years. Bentgo lunchboxes, lunch bags, and backpacks - Our first and only choice. The company and products do not disappoint.

Update!! After using these upgrades I’ve pack boxes for a school year and a half, we did experience a large crack across the clasp. These boxes have a two year warranty. Customer service was phenomenal to work with. I sent an email asked about the warranty. They responded the very next day requesting pictures of my Amazon purchase details and pictures of the product issue. We now have two replacement lunch boxes on the way! After a year and a half, I still stand by my original review below. These are great boxes! No leaks! They hold an ample amount of food! And my kids love them :) End update We upgraded to these from the previous version, which did not have an ice pack. There is one less compartment. This design eliminated the dip circle in the middle, which we didn’t use anyways. But this design also eliminated the “wasted space” between compartments that existed in the old design, which now gives additional room for the remaining larger compartments. The ice pack adds a negligible amount of weight. Please do not be swayed by other reviewers that suggest that this lunch box is too heavy. When we received these boxes, they were maybe a tad difficult to click open and closed. But after the first week or so, the kids didn’t struggle anymore. So don’t be worried if it seems tough to click at first. We have had zero leak issues and we send fresh cut fruit every single day. We even send apple sauce sometimes. There have yet to be any leaks. Our picky eaters use these boxes daily throughout the entire school year. I do clean them out with hot water and a tiny dab of soap everyday right after school and toss the ice pack in the freezer. Then it’s all ready to go for my husband in the morning. Don’t hesitate to buy these. We really do love them!!
