I have a damaged LES which is irreparable. Gavasgon has been the only medication that has worked The prescription medications only made it worse. And not only that but I live in the US and buy it from the UK b/c the FDA here in the states don't allow the gavasgon here to contain as high enough percentage of the active ingredient to make it effective. If you have severe reflux research "alginate raft" to learn how to use this medication for it to be the most effective. I highly recommend this product.

Handy to have at home
I have very bad acid reflux and found this works for me sometimes. I am not keen on the aniseed flavour as I find it too strong. It should work fine for people with moderate acid reflux.
