I'm a Large but these fit me perfectly in Medium - not tight at all. (I'm 6'1" - 210 lbs) Really glad I listened to the reviews and sized down.The hoodies are soft, comfortable, long sleeves (great for me; my arms are long for a Large, and these hit at my wrist or a little beyond). I will wear them in the summer for UV protection and in the colder/wetter months when running outdoors. So soft and loose you could also use for lounging / pajamas.Liked it enough to buy several in different colors.Docking one star because of the ridiculous sleeve lettering (almost a deal-breaker!). I worry that the lettering will peel off or warp over time (as happens with most of my other Columbia synthetic shirts, making them look like garbage). I only wear Columbia clothing when camping / exercising / at the beach, where I don't really care about looking smart.

I learned the hard way that even though it's rated at 50 spf, you will burn! I used it while snorkeling in Hawaii and got a wicked burn on my back. USE SUNSCREEN in addition. It's not like wearing a Tshirt. It will still let 2% of the sun rays through, according to an internet article. Yes, I was stupid.

As soon as I pulled this hoodie on and wore it, it was immediately my favorite. I hate wearing sunscreen, and this does the job, including on the back of your neck. Combined with a buff, you're covered. Wet the shoulders and get instant air conditioning! And I've got long arms, and since this hoodie is designed for fishing, it has extra long sleeves. So, being skinny, the medium still had sleeves plenty long enough even for me. An excellent price. Washing is a cinch, even if you get it dirty. Just a little spot spray and in a cool wash, and hang to dry (NEVER put it in the dryer, but why would you when it dried by itself in under an hour on a hangar). GET THIS HOODIE!

As with all columbia clothing products, this is sized way too big. Go with a size smaller than you normally wear and you will be happy. I love Columbia clothing for my outdoors and traveling activities. The prices are a bit high, but not in comparison with brands like Patagonia and North Face. The quality is just as good for a cheaper price.This particular item is very light and I use it on either really hot days for fishing to keep the sun off my arms/neck and it works great. On cooler days, I need to wear another shirt or jacket over it since it's not much in terms of keeping me warm. It is basically a sun shield. Also, this is really good at wicking away sweat and it dries really fast, perfect for spending a day on a boat when you are exposed to the sun and getting splashed every 10 minutes.

I recently was diagnosed with precancerous spots on my arms and face. After getting them gone using the meds and nitrogen at my dermatologists I don’t want to repeat that if possible. These shirts are a big help. I have the blue and a white one. Both work great keeping the sun off of me without dying of heat stroke even in 105 degree Kansas weather! I wear the white one in those cases thought because the blue does get warmer. What is amazing is that you actually feel COOLER in the sun with these on than without them. It has something to do with wicking the perspiration which makes the air against your skin cooler.I still put on sunscreen on my face and hands but these made a huge difference. I have been camping for 25 days and just have a light tan.

I sunburn easily, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to keep myself safe when I'm outdoors for a long time. This hoodie, along with a light t-shirt underneath it, was good enough to keep me from being sunburned even after a week and a half of being outdoors in 90-degree weather for hours each day. It's breathable, it dries fast, it's machine-washable (though the iron-on letters did start to peel off after only a few washes), and it's just all-around a great investment. You'll definitely feel a little extra heat from wearing it, but it's waaaay better than any other hoodie I've worn when it comes to keeping cool outside in the summer. Highly recommended.

These are somewhat loose rather than large, but I prefer to be able to move freely when hot and not have fabrics that cling to my skin. I use them for work outdoors, attic conduit runs and roof tops doing solar electrical work. They do not retain moisture when wet like cotton does and dry much faster which for me makes them 100% effective working outdoors. If you don't wear a big straw hat like I do, then use the hoodie over your regular hat or head to cover the back of your neck a little. Highly recommended if you prefer to be hot, but not sweaty during those grueling summer days working outside.

This Sun hoodie works well to keep the sun off my neck shoulders and face. The hood is large enough to allow use of a ball cap underneath. It also keeps mosquitos and knats at bay. I wear this shirt every day during my work activities since I purchased it about a month ago. I ordered black and thought it might be too hot. So far the garmet breaths well and has not been a problem. It seems well constructed and has been holding up well to tree branches, bryers, and adverse work environments. I liked it so much I bought another one. I like the shirt but I am not fond of the lettering and artwork! Note: size M is quite large. In fact it IS size large!

Amazing product. It is super cool but covers you completely if you are prone to sunburns. The thing actually comes with a UPF 50 sun protection rating on it lol. Also, I love that it comes with a Large/Tall option. I have a long upper body and simian arms so this actually fits me quite well. No problems with it being too short in the body or arms which is a common thing for me when I buy tee shirts.It also seems to be of decent quality. Just don't rub up against any brick walls because it will for sure catch and mess it up.

Nothing bad to say about this. It's really light, and awesome for hot weather, especially if you're planning to be in the sun for any length of time. This will help avoid getting scorched. The breeze goes right through it, to keep you cool. Time will tell how durable it is, given how thin the material is. So far so good.

J'en ai déjà acheter 2 autres et celui là est pour ma conjointe. Super satisfait, finit les coup de soleil. Extrêmement léger et la brise passe au travers. Très agréable à porter.

Very nice and light and breathable. I'm 5'10'' 160lbs and the medium was a little on the big side.

Thought it would fit a little more tighter, but I’ve grown accustomed to the loose fitting. Good for hiking

Me quedo muy bien, es muy fresca aún cuando estás bajo el sol, también es muy ligera ya que la tela es muy delgada y liviana
