Great product
This little forge is great. It heats up fast and really works well. The first time I ran it I put a piece of tooling steel in it. It was up to forging temperature fairly fast for it's size. I haven't really had a chance to give it a good workout but from what I can tell it's going to work out perfect for the type of work I'm going to use it for. Most of the time I'm working with softer steel but I wanted to test it with tooling steel. From what I seen with the tooling steel I should have any problems with the softer steel I use most of the time.

Exactly what I needed
This is a nice, small forge. I bought this for small projects that do not warrant starting my coal forge. Set up is simple and fast. I am building a stand for it to make it more comfortable to use. I am skeptical about obtaining forge welding heat, but it does fine heating thin material (3/8" or less). For a beginner blacksmith or as a secondary forge, I would recommended it. If you want a big forge for making damascus, this isn't it. It is small. It is affordable, and more than suitable for small projects. I had no issues with the burner, or other components. Edit: After some minor adjustments, this forge is more than capable of forge welding heat. The chamber is too small for many projects that require forge welding, but it is nice to have the capability. 6/5 stars.

Decent little forge
For the price it's great. The burner is great and super easy to adjust. It will get hot enough to forge weld small stock. There are a couple of downsides. It's a bit smaller than I'd like, could be a bit wider. The refractory coating they give you is garbage. Mines been fired up and used a couple dozen times and the coating is already coming off in spots. Part of it is do to it being so small, if you even bump the side the refractory just falls off. Get some satanite to coat it with. My big forge is coated with satanite and it's held up for years. So overall it's a decent forge, gets nice and hot, is built well but in all honesty if I had to do it over I'd go with the Mr volcano just for the extra width.

Iโd buy it again
I wanted a small and cheap forge. I donโt have a lot of room in my garage. What I got was a small and cheap forge. This thing is pretty neat. It gets hot enough to weld and will also heat up your garage. It doesnโt use much gas either. My son and I had a fun time messing with it and making pointy objects. Nothing fancy just practice pieces. Flames come out the front and back pretty far so be aware of that. It comes with 2 extra gas port nozzles. The one that came in it was clogged with something Iโm sure I could have cleared out but I just changed it with the provided tool. One of the legs on is is shorter than the other 3 but I donโt care. Itโs a forge for my garage. It will get rusty. It will get banged around. When it breaks Iโll either buy another or build another. If you want to make things in a forge buy it. Works great for my needs. Read the description though. The opening is small. 4x3โ or a little better but thatโs it. Materials are pretty decent. It gets crazy hot very fast and I donโt have buyers remorse at all so thatโs good. The outside will get hot so donโt go grabbing it or the gas port for an hour after you shut it down. You wonโt do it twice. At least I wonโt. Lol.

Great for beginners
It's great for beginners, it's only $109.99 and preforms great. The only two complaints I have are that I had to get a different regulator ( I didn't have the right propane tank ) and the insulation around the neck was a little confusing. But other than those two things I highly recommend it. If you want to get into knife making, this is the best and most cost effective forge to buy.

Works well
Pretty well constructed. Be careful with the fittings. Mine weren't very tight and needed some sinching. Gets hot fast and doesn't use much propane. If you have a newer tank like me, you will need an adapter. The regulator requires a deep POL connector. Also be careful as the forge stays hot for a very long time after you turn it off. Over all, I am very pleased with it.

Fantastic little forge, amazing value!
I love this forge and would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting into forging and blacksmithing. I have used mine for over a year and probably put around 80 tanks of propane through it! The burner is great and I've had no trouble getting up to welding heat. One thing I did was line the ceramic blanked with refractory cement - this will make it last much longer and hold the heat better. Also a higher-pressure regulator will help you out. 10/10 love this forge. I am using a larger homemade forge now, but still keep this around for smaller projects.

Works, but could have been better.
Exactly what I ordered. However one of the feet for the base was broken off before being placed in the box and shipped and some other peices were missing. There is also no way to get ahold the company, their website just comes up error messages while trying to submit the everything. I also ordered a brand new product. Overall it's what I ordered, but probably not going to order from this particular company again.

size is a bit misleading
the quality of this kit is nice, steel is thick all around, has a good weight. the hose for the propane is a good length, and comes with some nice accessories like the refractory, extra nozzles. But the forge is much smaller than i thought, with the wool inside, you have about 10x3.5x3.5". I coated the forge in refractory and currently waiting for that to set so i haven't fired it up yet but i doubt it will have any difficulty getting hot
