I’ve been doing a lot of homework looking at metal detectors. There is so many to choose from. I wanted to go with the name brand product that has excellent customer service. This model is very simple to use and works terrific. I go every weekend to the beaches in RI… it’s a terrific price. Just make sure the seller has a website there are a lot of shops out there that sell this product for a cheaper price which raises a lot of red flags for me.

Most of us love the idea of a good treasure hunt. The ACE 300 will allow you to embark on many new treasure hunts. I was able to help a neighbor find her lot markers that had been buried over the years; not only was it fun, but practical in this case. There was a small learning curve in figuring out how to best set the machine to discriminate for the type of metal you are searching for, but pretty simple once you get it.

I bought this Metal Detector for my adult son so he can search for buried treasures. He has enjoyed it tremendously and has told me it is easy to use. Although at this time he hasn't found treasures, he has come across nails, bottle caps, and a few coins. This is a great metal detector for a beginner!

I was a technical writer in the metal detector industry for years. Most of the BIG names in the business produce good machines. Garrett is one of the most popular among serious metal detectorists for a good reason. THEY WORK WELL.

I was really excited about taking this out and doing some relic hunting. I practiced with it for a week in my backyard on several different types of objects to familiarize myself with it. I was enjoying the performance and ease of use.Took it out on a real expedition shortly thereafter in Northern California to find traces of the Emigrant trail, and the circuit board went nuts within the first ten minutes. I replaced the batteries, and reset it to the original manufacturer's mode five times. It worked for about 2 minutes each time, and then went bonkers. It couldn't even find the side of my Jeep!Very disappointed, and just found myself digging up stuff for the other people on the trip whose detectors were working.

I was lucky. The metal decetor service great and shipping excellent promise from schedule perfect but they want my box public name . no wrap private thank god no one steal my box public name from shipping delivery and I show my box to people homeless noticed my box carrying in the bus. They were quiet fine lucky at last time I left the bus one man big . next time please wrap up many boxes,always wrap.up
