Screen Replacement for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 T290 SM-T290 LCD Display Touch Digitizer Glass Screen Assembly

OK, so I have only had the screen for a few days, but so far so good. I was a little nervous about trying to do this myself but after watching a few videos I felt pretty good about my ability to do this. The hardest part was getting the back off the tablet. The included tools are not really the best for getting the back off. If you have a thin flat metal tool of your own, you will want to use it. The included screwdriver worked just fine. Getting the old screen out of the frame was a challenge, you will definitely want to use a hairdryer or similar heating tool to warm up the tape. The included tape strips for re-stallation don't seem very strong, so I used some industrial strength double sided tape to put it back together. Also, there are no replacement tape strips for the battery, so you may want some double sided tape there too.Bottom line...the screen works like it should, and it's not too difficult to install. The included tools are not the best, you might need some additional tools of your own to get the job done. Having some good double sided tape will be helpful. Getting my daughters tablet working again for about $25 is amazing.

The included tape for the screen sucks, my screen came loose the second day and I alcohol wiped everything and clamped for 24hrs. Touchscreen digitizer went out 3 weeks later.I should have just bought a new tablet at this point but hey it was cheap and worth a shot
