BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* POWERCONNECT Cordless Drill/Driver + Circular Saw Combo Kit (BDCD220CS)

I had an old 18V Skil circular saw that needed to be replaced. I already have experience with B&D tools and I'm satisfied with the brand so I immediately looked this up on Amazon. I noticed they had the bare tool (no battery) for sale which was about $45 prime but I noticed Amazon and B&D were running a promotion for $10 off on products over $50 so I decided to get the combo pack since the battery, charger, bag and drill would cost much more and I got a much better deal. So pretty much the bag and drill came "free" based on the cost savings I had calculated. For the price, you're not getting a DeWalt drill... I already have the drill / impact combo so I figured it would be nice to have a drill that I could lend to a friend or neighbor without worrying about my precious DeWalt drills. Usually when lending tools, they take forever to come back home. Pros: - Amazing combo deal. Bag is actually good quality and it opens nice and wide. - Circular saw is a beast and lasted enough to build a new workbench without having to recharge. - Light weight and doesn't cause fatigue to come sooner. - Drill is essentially free based on the cost savings of buying the circular saw, battery, and charger separately. Cons: - May not be a con for you but I have the DeWalt drills so I'm use to the high RPM's they deliver which makes this drill seem like a wuss. If you're expecting a high RPM drill, this is not it. Reason it's my loner drill. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and I recommend anyone who is searching for a battery powered circular saw to get this combo set. You can't ever have enough tools so if you already have a drill, get it anyway. Add up the battery, charger, and the bare circular saw and you've already exceeded the cost of this combo.

Have had this just over 6 weeks and done a ton of outside patio and gazebo repairs. Even made a platform for the dogs to climb. Excellent battery life. The circular saw is powerful and works great. No problem finding blades to fit. The only down side is that it cuts from underneath to the top instead of from the top downward. Not really a problem, just takes a bit of getting used to it. The drill is the best I have ever used. Replaced a personal DeWalt that was a decade old and batteries/parts no longer available. Love the ability to set torque and not over drive screws. Have not found a drawback yet. Both are great tools for around the house repairs/remodeling projects. The battery is excellent and holds a charge much better than other technologies I have used. Can't go wrong with these.

I've had the old fashioned 3.6V and 7.2V tools and it was great to have a 20V tool. The drill is very good. The light is a single light and I would recommend that they have a dual light like other cordless drills. With one light, sometimes you end up blocking some of the light when you're working. But I have used this drill but put in a floor in my attic space and it worked great. The battery lasted a very long time and I have a lot of power. No complaints whatsoever The circular saw is Ok. I guess you cannot expect too much with a battery. It cuts 2x4's with no problem but not a 2x6. Also it would not work on a 2x4 for an angled cut as this would make the cut longer. You really need a lot of juice for a circular saw. But for small jobs, I feel it's worth it. For example when I was putting in the attic floor, I needed to cut some 2x4s and this tool worked perfectly. It would have been a real drag to carry a large extension cord and a powerful 7 1/4 saw. I like the fact that you can keep the battery plugged in and it's not a problem. I also would like to add that I bought the weedwacker/blower combo at HomeDepot. I also think they are excellent. Both work very well with lots of power and long lasting battery. This 20V system is a great idea.

Great saw and drill combo. The saw isnt majorly powerful but will cut a 2 by with little effort.Cut thru plywood great.An extra battery is highly recommended if doing a larger project involving cutting a lot of 2 /4 s. Wish BD would have the case with a few side pockets on it for battery storage on the side would be really nice. I cant expect everything as the combo was pleasantly priced. The drill is very powerful and lasts fairly long with extended use. The bag is nice bonus and is very thick canvas with a bottom support. Again I would of loved a few battery side pockets on the bag but love it regardless. Be carful if storing the batteries in the bag as they can short against the metal on the charger or saw bottom. I cut a few canvas pouches for mine that I had lying around. My old 18 volt shorted against my charger in the bag recently and exploded in the bag. All and all im really impressed with the combo so for and last longer than my old 18 volt tools.

Product has plenty of power for normal household jobs. They light, easy to handle and do a nice job. Circular saw has an operator button that must be pushed for operation and the location is a little awkward, but manageable. The drill is actually quite handy and comes with a light to target your drilling area. Overall, for the price, it’s a good value.

Aunque la maleta llegó con un corte, me gustó mucho el paquete y enseguida lo usé, la sierra vale la pena aunque conseguir los discos es un poco dificil de conseguir en las ferreteras por el tamaño, el taladro me encantó, lo uso para muchas cosas, práctico, ergonómico y muy funcional!!!

Great set! Drill is probably the key piece of the set. Dont get me wrong the skill saw is great but not contractor worthy. The 2 star comment about the skill saw not making staright cuts is pure ignorence, its not due to the shaft but the fact that its a small blade which makes it easy to veer off track if you dont have a line drawn on the piece of wood. Also, just to be clear, the set at Canadian tire has a cheaper drill at 115lbs of torque and only one speed while this one is over 300lbs of torque and has 2 speeds

I've had these for over 6 months. I love the drill. Its nice and light but feels rock solid. It has good balance and the battery lasts a long time. I've only used the saw a few times and it worked as expected.

Todo muy bien para uso casero ecxelente

As a set the tools perform very well and the saw is a great size if I need to demolish boards or fences. The life of the battery when cutting is the only weakness and it doesnt replace fully my need for a dedicated corded saw. Over all I'm very please with the quality and value of the tools and would buy again.
