American Rotary Phase Converter AR10-10HP 1 to 3 Three PH |Can Start up to a 5Hp / 14 Amp 208-240v Light Load

We have used this everyday 5 days a week runs 3 to 4 hrs a day. Over 3 years now and never let us down.

Unit worked as advertised. I wired the output to a panel with multiple 20 amp breaker’s going to flush mount twist lock receptacles. Made it easy to hook my lathe and mill up. So far no issues whatsoever.

This product has quality control problems. You have to wire the motor to the control box, and the instruction specifically say to use the numbers on the wires, and not to rely on the color of the wires. The wires were not numbered, not a single one. One of the nuts holding the motor fan housing fell off. The bottom plate on the motor was not straight, so the motor would not sit level on the floor as designed. Very disappointed with the effort put into building this product.

Product works just as advertised, directions were very clear and straightforward and it runs my 3 hp mill without any issues.

I have owned shop equipment for over 30 years, both fabrication and machine shops. American Rotary phase converters are quiet, run smooth and last under many years/hours of commercial shop use. They deliver on time which is all important when new equipment goes online and your ready to start producing. Highly recommend.

The converter works great to run a mill and surface grinder.
