Cheap quality woefully under powered
I bought this because I have 6 external hard drives. But after plugging in the 3rd drive they all started to act up not getting enough power to run them. 3 drives really? This thing was supposed to be 120w with plenty of power per port. The other thing is how chintzy it was. I didn't want to squeeze it to hard in my hands cause I thought I would crush the exterior and break something inside. Lastly the data transfer was slowwwwwwww. I though I was connected to a USB 2.0 hub. I am sending this back and trying to find a better hub that actually has the power.

Doesn't work in every scenario
First, to be clear, I will be keeping it as it basically does what it's supposed to do ... and I don't have time to delve deeply into why it's doing something odd ... and it might be a Windows bug, but let me explain.I had 10 drives plugged in, and plugged one more LARGE USB disk in to make 11. I copied a ton of files to the root of the drive and all worked well. However, if I create sub-directories on the drive, they will get created but you can't copy anything to them ... acts like it goes there, but it doesn't. However, if you remove all the drives and plug in ONLY 1 drive, it works with sub-directories like it's supposed to (and YES, I plugged it back into the same slot). Could be a Windows bug ... could be a hub bug ... just know that it drove me crazy trying to figure out why stuff I copied over wasn't there. But I can't honestly say if it's Windows or the Hub ... or even my laptop ... so I removed one star, and I hope others will try this experiment.

Win10 Issues
Nice metal chassis and LOTS of ports with 120W power supply. What’s not to like? - Well the power adapter itself, for one: the included adapter is cheap and not certified. Easy fix though, just pick up a different 12V/10A power supply with a standard DC 5.5mm tip.Immediately recognized in Windows 10 and in macOS 12, and it’s easy to set up in Linux too. So I was happy with it until…I heard dinging in the next room while away from my PC and found the hub was rapidly connecting & disconnecting (as if it were being unplugged and then plugged back in every 0.5sec, despite being untouched with secure connections). — If I unplug the power and plug it back in, then this stops; but it starts acting up again within a couple hours. So sadly the hub is currently sitting on my desk unplugged most of the time. I currently don't use it at all because I need my USB peripherals to be performing properly. (Lord help you if you have a ton of devices plugged into the hub when it decides to throw a fit).Extremely disappointed because I only bought this 6 months ago - and to date, I've gotten very little use out of it. Perhaps a manufacturing defect or it could be there is need of a special driver (no luck tracking one down). — I'll be contacting the manufacturer to try to straighten this out and will come back to update this review at a later date. Cheers

Wait until the price goes down
Bought one of these for $89 in September to see it if worked. It did. So ordered three more but the price was then $99. Now they're selling them at $133. The product works, but do not let them gouge you. Just don't order it until they bring the price down. They're playing you.

Hub is great, power supply causes noise in microphones (no FCC certification!!)
The hub itself seems to be of good quality. It runs all my devices with no issues - and I had issues with other hubs in the past.Unfortunately, the (massive) power supply (12V 10A) that comes with it causes audible noise in professional studio microphones. (There are bigger offenders out there, but this one clearly was not licensed by the FCC, and does not have any FCC certification logo printed on it. Better than faking a certification - but I don't think you are allowed to sell uncertified electronics, are you?)I'll be investing in a 3rd party power supply.
