Amazon Basics All-Season Cotton Weighted Blanket, 20 Pound, Twin, 48 x 72 Inch, Dark Gray

This is a well made item. I use it year round. I returned to Amazon recently to purchase another and Amazon has quit making or selling it. Disappointing, as I wished they still had it. The zipper interior compartment was lined, making for a slightly heavier weight but durable cover. The zipper, though polyester, was mid grade. It wasn't cheap like the zippers on the recently purchased duvet covers. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and durable. After over a year of use, the fabric has maintained both its color, softness, and beauty. I have yet to locate another vendor with the same quality of workmanship as this one. This duvet cover is completely dissimilar and superior to the weighted blanket duvet covers that now exist. Amazon PLEASE bring back this item. Thanks.

I've been using this blanket for about a week and my sleep has drastically improved. I've had insomnia for many years where I either can't fall asleep, or I wake up and can't get back to sleep. With this blanket I'm finding it helps me to fall asleep more quickly and if I do wake up I usually fall back to sleep within minutes. The combination of the fabric and the weight from the beads feels soft and buttery like a hug. I don't feel hot or cold, and I don't think that will change in summer. The fabric seems sturdy yet very soft on the hand. It seems well made with small stitched squares holding the beads in place. I got a twin size which is 12 lbs, and since I'm 5'6" and sleep in a recliner, it's a perfect fit side to side, and top to bottom.

Not too many choices for 17 lbs so I chose this one. Quality seems fine. The stitching looked fine, with even distribution of beads. Unforetunate that it doesn't come with a duvet like some of the others because I'd rather wash that than try to wash 17# blanket. Size is fine. You don't want the blanket so big that it hangs over the bed. (So I got a twin for just me. On a queen bed that's a bit odd sized with another person in the bed who doesn't want a weighted blanket. So we are getting a king bed so my blanket doesn't move over. I don't know what size is right for two people who want to be covered in the same bed.) I had to return it because I thought it was too heavy. Otherwise I would have kept it and bought an additional duvet cover. I am 180# 5'11" femaie. 15# twin seems perfect for me right now.

I had a more expensive 20-lb weighted blanked from another company so I was a bit dubious when I saw this one for a significantly lower price. It worked as advertised. The 15 pound was a good weight for me even though the common wisdom says 10% of your body weight. It says it is an all season blanket. That might be true if it was the only blanket on the bed. I used it with a top sheet, blanket and bed spread and found it to be warm. I suppose if I had it as the only blanket it might work. Ultimately, I ended up returning it. Not because of quality or even the extra warmth. I couldn't get used to the constant weight. I'm a side sleeper and toss/turn quite a bit. I found I was waking more often because I couldn't turn over to my other side. The other reason was I'm also an edge sleeper so to stay covered I had to let a little hang over the side which seemed to increase the weight slightly. If you primarily sleep on your back, belly or don't toss/turn, this is a great product. When I was napping in a recliner with my other blanket, I loved the comfort it provided....kind of like a full body hug. I can see why people love them.

I have always had really bad insomnia and anxiety. This blanket has helped a lot. I have have also had far less nightmare. For some reason this blanket just makes me feel safe. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but it’s holding up good so far and excellent quality. Definitely a steal I got it on sale and would definitely pay full price. Love love love. It also is fine for summer and it’s not too hot it’s nice and cooling.

Ok, let me first say that this is my third weighted blanket, so there's no unfamiliarity with them and their characteristics. This one is fine, looks nice, and actually launders pretty well on the gentle cycle. The weight is good, although it does feel like there's a scarcity of beads at the perimeter of the blanket, but overall it's a decent blanket. BUT... this thing gets really hot. I'm sure that sounds great to a lot of people UNLESS you're someone like me who tends to be a warm/hot sleeper; if that's the case, then this is not going to be the blanket for you. We live in Georgia and in the winter we have the thermostat set at 66 for sleeping, and even then we have the window cracked about 3" as long as the temps outside aren't going to be below 30 degrees. I have just this blanket and a cotton percale sheet over me on my side of the bed and I'm almost able to make it through the entire night comfortably; but if there's anything else on me - even just another cotton sheet or a light cotton blanket - then I wake up drenched in sweat (not fun when you kick off the covers or have to get up and the ambient room temp is hovering around 66, I assure you).

I initially bought this blanket for my mother who is getting on in age so wakes up frequently in the night. After receiving the blanket and cover, I washed the cover, covered the blanket, and then tested the weight out myself since the blanket is fairly heavy (but appropriate according to the chart provided by Amazon). I was concerned that it would be a little to heavy for her and she might not be able to lift it off if she had to get up in the night. Well, I ended up leaving it on my bed. Although I wasn’t sure how and why a weighted blanket works, I did notice that I had deeper sleep cycles. I would get up and realize that my mother had gotten up earlier and took the dog out without me noticing. Usually, I hear her when she stirs. Although I slept better, is deeper sleep better safety wise for me? That’s my cautionary dilemma. The blanket cover has a velvety texture and is quite soft. Very comfortable and yes, the blanket does what it is intended to do.

Toller Bezug, edel, weich, würde ihn wieder kaufen und kann ihn absolut weiterempfehlen... ABER VORSICHT! Der Bezug hat ein etwas höheres Eigengewicht sollte man beim Kauf berücksichtigen da viele Leute die Gewichtsdecken genau auf Ihr Körpergewicht abstimmen.

Die Decke ist Mittel schwer, gut verarbeitet. Wirkt tatsächlich, ich kann mit der Decke länger schlafen als sonst. Für den Preis klare Kaifempfehlung

Lovely item very soft heavy and bigger than I thought

Je retrouve enfin le sommeil, un sentiment de bien être, par l'effet lovant de la couette ! Je passe de meilleures nuit depuis que je l'utilise et ne peux plus m'en passer ! Je la recommande à tous mes amis ! Seul bémol de ce modèle est qu'il faut régulièrement replacer les billes qui tombe dans le fond de la couette.
