SierraComfort Luxe Portable Massage Table

this is the third type of table i've ordered. just got out of school, didn't know what i SHOULDN'T buy, now i do. my friend from school bought the Sierra Comfort Professional Series package, which i have used, so if you're debating between the two...PROS1) armrest is AWESOME. it is much longer than any i have ever seen. i find it is easier to have the client use this type of armrest vs the side attachment type with the other table(s), helps lengthen out the rhomboids, rotator cuff, ect.... also WAY easier to attach to the headrest than any other one.2) the extra inch of padding is why it's called Luxe. very comfy in my opinion, i may not even buy the memory foam pad i intended on getting! (some may not like it squishier, but most of my work is prone, so yeah)3) the case is NICE! thicker and, in my opinion, more professional looking than the Pro Series in full black.4) overall nice quality materials. pretty much the same as the pro series in this aspect, but for the price, Sierra Comfort in any package is way higher quality than any other table in this price range (like i said, THIRD table i've bought).CONS1) no face hole. not a con to me because even when i had one on a previous table, i never used it. the Pro Series has a face hole, however, think of your sheets. if you are a professional, you have to use sheets... which will be in the way of a face hole and your client will be, rather comically, squishing their face the whole time! my friend never uses the hole with her Pro Series, either.2) no bolsters. now this is the one place that the Pro Series is better. although that one comes with two half bolsters, and you can put them together (as my friend tried) to make a full round bolster, but it really doesn't work. with no bolsters, i was free to choose the specific type i prefer, so not that bad...i would HIGHLY recommend this table over anything in this price range, even though the Pro Series is a little cheaper, i know from using both tables i prefer this one so much more.

I recently purchased this product for use in home.1: There are not instructions of any sort. Neither listing parts, operation, or for care. The product is pretty intuitive so I wouldn't think you would need instructions for assembly. But where things go and how to put them there would be of value. Also care instructions would also be of help.2: The product is slightly different than that pictured. There are actually head rest holes on both ends of the table (this is a good thing). However the head rest doesn't fit into any of the holes. In an effort to fit the head rest into the holes one of the plastic pieces in the hole actually broke. I couldn't even get more than two inches of only one of the spokes into the hole. This part of the table was not built correctly. The plastic pieces in the holes are not big enough to allow the head rest spokes to slip in. This should be a simple process and should not require a herculean effort. Tried both sides and it was a no go.Other than this the table appears to be very sturdy. Unfortunately without the head rest this table is useless to me. There is no slot in the table surface to put the head like in the other models from Sierra.Currently trying to return this product. Will update once this process is concluded.Edit (2/13/2012): The company got back to me and handled the situation effectively. Honestly I was very pleased at how well they handled the situation. They were quick and courteous. Thus moving it up to 3 stars from 2 stars. As stated above other than the headrest not fitting to the table the table is well built.

Excellent table! Arrived well-packaged with everything it advertised -- PLUS a wonderful 4-CD set of relaxing music! Nifty bonus! Table is easy to put up and take down. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the head rest piece. I have another table at my other home (this table is for our vacation condo), and the head rest on my first table fits very close to the table & has rounded corners on the cushion part that attaches with velcro to the brace. This one has more of a square shape to the corners of the cushion, and the entire head rest piece doesn't fit quit as snug up against the table. It juts out just a bit. It's not so bad that I'm disappointed in the table. Am very impressed with the sturdiness of the table. It's very well-built with sturdy wooden legs and end pieces. The sand color is nice. The table and carrying case had just the slightest "new" smell when it arrived, but I aired out the carrying case flat open on the bed for a few hours, and it dissipated just fine. I think this table will last a long time. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. -- Karen Crisp

Yessssss! Finally a comfortable table that is super sturdy! I'm an esthetician and I bought this table specifically to do facials on. The extra plus bed is noticeable to my clients. It's very sturdy to accommodate any plus size clients. It doesn't make noise when you get up or down. I've adjusted the legs and it was simple. It's fully assembled (minus the small add on pieces) so essentially you can open it up and start using it. I've added an egg carton memory foam to it (for extra plushness) and cover that with a waterproof twin size mattress pad. I use twin sheets as well. The fitted ones are a little baggy by it's fine and no one has said anything. If you're not sure to splurge the extra $30-50 or so, I'd say do it. If your clients are comfortable they will come back. If you're an esthetician, our treatment bed is everything. Make it inviting and comfortable. Make them never want to leave! The. You know they'll be back.

Es un excelente artículo y un precio muy competitivo en el mercado, le pongo las 5 estrellas porque la comodidad para el paciente es excelente, solo que yo le agregaría unos elásticos más gruesos y resistentes en la parte interna para asegurar el descansabrazos y el reposa cabeza.
