Just as accurate information I received from my doctor.
Easily explains all the symptoms very clear. I like that it is in a book form that I can refer to forever.I understand all that I suffer with. Do not have to call to resources. I have it for keeps now.

Very Informative Book Even for Those Not Suffering This Condition- US Vet's In Particular Must Read!
This book "Exercises for Fibromyalgia: The Complete Exercise Guide for Managing and Lessening Fibromyalgia Symptoms" is much more than helpful and explains the importance of exercise in mitigating the pain from this "rule-out" disorder. Most lay people do not understand the "unseen" wounds many US Citizens and in particular US veterans suffer due to their unfortunate service to the nation abroad and either their sheer "luckiness or unluckiness" (point of view) in not having been shot or blown up directly (i.e. surviving the crucible of fire somehow physically unscathed when many others similar circumstances simply did not) , even though they very well should have been by all rights, or their exposure to something hazardous in local environment! Not only does constantly living under stress inflame Fibromyalgia but body aches and pains can also be a symptom of the co-morbid conditions of PTSD/Depression and Insomnia- also unseen wounds! This book along with others illuminates the fact that exercise, diet and a healthy lifestyle- as stress free as possible- are in fact the best and doctor recommended treatments for not only Fibromyalgia but other orthopedic conditions as well such as various forms of arthritis- which many veterans deployed abroad suffer at an undue age in life. The US Department of Veterans Affairs, should consider utilizing its health care providers allocated book budget to issue this book and others of similar nature, to veterans whom have been fortunate enough to actually finally be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, as being a "rule-out" illness, Fibromyalgia, like Agent Orange Exposure, is not the easiest diagnosis for a veteran, even though they display all symptoms, to simply obtain and once obtained actually be compensated for!Bottom-line: This is a very informative book even for those not suffering this condition.

Few Books About This Subject
There are very few books and very few trainers/masseurs who are familiar with fibromyalgia and it's special needs. This book offers effective and easy exercises that if one as directed and as frequently as directed, have a positive impact without fibo flare-up.

many of the exercises were too painful to do
Because I have osteoarthritis throughout my body, many of the exercises were too painful to do. I do not subscribe to the "no-pain, no-gain" school of exercise. Perhaps someone younger and more agile would derive more benefit from this book.

it's a good book to start with
Very informative. I haven't tried the exercises yet but they all look doable. My daughter, who really knew nothing about fibromyalgia, read the beginning part of the book and was kind of surprised what fibromyalgia is all about. If you have recently been diagnosed, or suspect this is what you have, it's a good book to start with.

Easy on the body
These are stretches fibro needs to help control it. You can start with 1 each of the movements and gradually work your way up to more. On a bad day just do a few of your favorites till you can go back to where you left off. Helps keep you loose and your blood flowing.

Good for those who need ideas and benefit from regimen. Emotional well being is a very important part of managing fibromyalgia
Everyone with fibromyalgia has to find what works for them. Not overdoing is the main thing. Some people benefit from regimen, others don't, whatever works for you. Does give some ideas. I fully believe a person's state of mind has a lot to do with their pain and overall management.

Book is helpful
Good book and the exercises are appropriate for the chronic condition rather then having a yoga expert demonstrating unrealistic moves.

Disappointed
Was hoping they’d be more info and guidance on exercises for fibromyalgia sufferers. I’ve had fibromyalgia for a couple of years now so the text in this book didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know already. The few pages showing exercises were of no use to me as I cannot do most of them. I’m waiting for physio/hydrotherapy but thought this book would help whilst we’re on lockdown. So I’m disappointed with book.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for 30 years now ...
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for 30 years now and there is no way I would be able to do the exercises shown in this book. I will be returning this book.

Waste of time
If I could get my money back on this I would. It's a real waste of time compared to the other amazing books
