It came with everything as depicted. At first I thought it didn't come with the stand like the photo shows, however after looking at the photo again I realized that you have to lift the brush holders part up and fold half of it down onto the Velcro to create the lifted part. I feel like that's actually really convenient and innovative!

I like having an assortment so I have different sizes and it makes it easier to blend.

Very good brushes and I love that they come in a case

I am beginner in the world of watercolor painting, but i found that these brushes are much better than the ones I purchased previously. All the brushes vary in sizes and neatly numbered for organization. Plus it came with painting tray, two yellow sponges and two palette knives. I might pick up acrylic painting soon and glad that I will be able to use the same brushes for that as well. The black brush carrier is so smart, because i don't want to damage or lose the brushes. So far I have drawn little blue elephant for my upcoming baby nursery room :) It is not perfect, but I love the way it looks :)

I don't believe my brushes were new, some weren't in sleeves (like new brushes are) but I needed them to complete a painting for sale. The fan brush is really really thin.

Beautiful set if you have an artist as a friend or in your family. My niece loved them!
