Q: Can the infinity stones be removed?

No they are seated withing the plastic gauntlet itself. I would not recommend trying to remove the stones. It would be very hard to if you tried. If you want replica stones for 1/12 scale, hobby stores should have a suitable alternative.

I honestly thought it was big, but I would say a little smaller than a Barbie doll. It’s very cool, comes with all sorts of attachments.
