Hi guys, Havells fab alkaline- got it for 13999 in prime deal, hate amazon as it's the same price even today. No use of prime deal waiting. Love amazon for their packaging. You guys are from heaven in packing every shipments of me. This is the latest model in Havells launched in 2020. But u can't just find it in search of amazon. As amazon search takes Havells fab as fan and shoes fan results. (For me). Fun is Havells website also dint update the product as of today, ha ha funny guys. (I got it in filters - Havells - newest ) In this review iam going to compare it with LG which my brother bought for 23k 1. Design: Havells: 5* LG: 2* Havells- I loved the design, I appreciate Havells designers for making a beautiful one looks like it belongs to year 2040. Pls I recommend to fit in corner only, because in center of a wall looks like alien object. 2. Build: Havells: 4* LG: 3* Havells -build was good, it's was enough plastic to hold it. It can even be used in table top and Its a tall one. LG -had a odd front lid which fits like a lid in cheap Chinese toys. Other than that build is good. I don't recommend lg in table top. As there is no clearence in water tap height. 3. Tank: Havells: 5**** LG: 4* Lg- gave a stainless tank then why the less rating. U see even if it's a stainless tank we must clean it once in a while. Which is hidden. Havells - the tanks can be seen from outside. Which can assure us that there's is no sediments in bottom. No need to open lid. the main reason I purchased Havells is design and next is the all clear tank. 4. Tap: Havells: 3* LG: 4* Havells - have given a spill proof tap unlike LG. That's good but, it pours slower than lg. My hand pains when I have to wait for my jar to fill. Though not too slow its ok. Havells tap looks week as it's fit in the fibre tank. If kids handle it may break. Why not 5* for lg tap, it's because unlike Kent, pureit and other local brands which use plastic taps so we can replace it in 50rs. If worn. Lg and Havells taps have to be shipped from company. (That's pain in the dash he he) 5. Water filtering: Havells: 4* LG: 5* I feel both does a better job in filtering. LG: the taste of water is good. But consistancy (not sure). Excess waste water is nominal like all filters. (3/4 bucket for 1 full tank) Havells: water taste is similar but not consistent. Some times the water tastes bit more (how to say) thicker. And gets normal again. Waste water is bit more than normal (full bucket for 1 full tank) 6. Service: Havells: 3* LG: 5* Comon guys it's LG. U know the service is good. It's free installation too. I got a call from Havells for installation but I droped it. (Not sure if it's free they dint mention, some reviewd they charge 1200). I fit myself 7. Cost: Havells: 4* LG: 1* Comon guys u know the answer for this, it's LG always costly. They never give value for money. But they come very close to excel in quality for money and QoS. But 23k is bull dash right. Havells fab alkaline even had extra filters than lg @13k 8. Electronics: Havells: 3* + 1* (for very low noise) LG: not sure sorry +1* (for very low noise) Havells: I diy fit Havells so I can tell. I felt the indicator board inside is clearly open so any water spill from tank may spoil the indicator pcb (when we remove or clean tank). But it never happened to me. I used a tape to keep it safe precautionary. (Solved) But secondly, the solenoid is not monitored it keeps pumping if the outlet is blocked or there's no water in coming. This will overburden the solenoid and break it down due to excess heat. But guys I don't know about the indicator in LG or other brands so not to compare. Also the solenoid monitoring is advanced-one so it can be only found in costly filters. Not sure of it in lg too. 9. Overall product: If u want a good looking, value for money and quality, satisfied filtering- go for Havells If u want best service, quality and filtering- LG Regarding each filter rates I will update later, after usage. General tips: 1. Never install filters on your own, if your are not a DIY person. Havells- read instruction manual carefully before installation. Some pipes are blocked inside on purpose. Each filter needs to be flushed at first installation. So if you just switch the device on. U may burden the solenoid and burn it. Follow the steps all the way to get the best out of your filter and not to spoil it. Even frt was reversed in the filter and few pipes were loose. Do take enough precaution 2. I Advice to buy two pre filter, I purchased entire filter set for 350. It's cheap and it will help you save 1000s on the life of inbuilt filters. U see in pic I have installed one pre-filter and it's already dirty in a week. We can replace filter for 90 rupees only. 3. Never buy AMC, it's costly and useless. Always buy filters seperately and install it in on your own. Or call a technician and install it. When u need. Unless u are in a very dirty water region and needs frequent filter change. 4. My uncle purchased waterlily filter for 8k and it tastes like wow. I thought comeon then what of these popular brands. It was like odd usual old school filter it still does the job. It's up to u. 5. Some technicians advice to use boosters. But I say 90 percent of the filters work without pressure booster. Just check your tap, pipe line, locks for blocks or fault first before buying a booster. Boosters are needed only in top floor residencers in multi storey flats which use few tanks for entire flat.

The product is really good. The taste of the water improved significantly. It was a major upgrade going from a normal UV based filter to an RO. The multi stage filtering system was also something I was looking for. So overall a good experience.

Havells feb alkaline Looking design is awesome,gives fresh alkaline water, highly recommended to buy this.. also well experienced service is quickly within 24hrs, Must buy..!!

Good purifier. Worth the price. Don't know about amc cost.

Product is good, but the servicing was not good they wont available. They will say they will come but they won't. Bad service from Havells.
