I bought these as a table setting for my Dad’s 72nd birthday and they worked out so well I bought another pack. They’re very sturdy so you don’t need to worry about starting a fire and the ribbing/striations add an elegant touch and some interest and movement while the flame flickers. These were an easy way to elevate the party and good for any occasion where you’re looking to dress up.

These are very pretty and look as pictured. However, the inside area is only about 1.25" deep, not the full 2 inches. A tea light will fit but not a standard votive candle. They are actually reversible. If you flip them over, they have an opening that will fit a taper candle. For this reason, half of the depth of the holder is used up. They were not what I expected because of the depth but they are really nice and can be used for tapers as well. They are a good value. Just beware that the candle area depth is only half the depth of the overall holder.

Love these little candle holders. They are definitely shallow and only hold a tea light but such a pretty little fresh, green accent.

I love the way the ridged glass filters the lights. I bought 2 of the variations of the clear glass here and both are really pretty, each in a different way. I think these are prettier than any of the faceted crystal candle holders I have tried over the years. The vertical ridges enhance and exaggerate the candle light, as well as softening it. It's one of the prettiest candle diffusers I have ever seen. I use it for votive candles. I don't think larger candles would work well in it. Inserting a shorter candle creates a larger region of diffused light in the space above. And the holders are not very wide for anything larger than a votive. I recommend these highly. I just wish they came in even more shapes and sizes, like a holder for 3"-5" wide candles, because the basic design of the holder is so good at filtering candlelight beautifully.

I purchased these to sit around a pencil/pen holder on a crystal lazy susan in my office space. They sit on a bookshelf and I wanted something pretty and tallish that would hold overflow of pens. I was hoping to find and willing to pay for crystal - this is a perfect close second. They perfectly camouflage the acrylic pencil holder in the center.
