Nice journal, but not actually A5 - pages are not quite as wide
My wife and i go through several journals every year. And every year we struggle to sort through the options to pick the next batch. This year i bought/evaluated 4 different dotted journals for the upcoming year, all different brands, and compared with an older official Bullet Journal: - Maleden - Omeya - Scribbles That Matter - Moleskine Requirements: - A5 - dotted - 2 bookmarks - 120gsm - back pocket Show-through was tested by placing a stark black/white paper behind one page. This does not show the bleed which happens due to paper porosity or coating, but does give some indication of what might show through if using standard roller and gel pens. Each of the 5 actually seemed to be fairly high quality. The official Bullet Journal had the nicest extras, such as peel-and-stick labels for months/days/etc. but also the most show-through. This year they have 120gsm paper, but it is possible my older journal had thinner pages. This Moleskine brand had minimal show-through. It had less contrast (less visible dots) and the pages were more of a yellow tint than is my preference. This journal is marketed as a logbook, and not as A5 size - though it is very close. A5 pages are roughly half an inch wider than these, and i already struggle getting everything I want onto a line. At roughly $25, this journal costs 5 times as much as the Maleden journals I ended up choosing.

Bullet Journal
This is the Moleskin notebook to get for a bullet journal. Pens do not bleed. I use Gel, ballpoint, and micron. I do not use markers so I can't comment to that. I am a business man and I needed to keep myself organized. Been using this for over a month and it does what I need.

Dots are ok, Plain is really awesome ..
Love it .. the paper thickness at 120gsm is ideal for almost any pen: fountain pen, roller ball or ballpoint ... I wish a plain paper version would be released one day by Moleskine ..
