I didn't feel the need to go overboard with a bigger name brand and went with exactly what this Hp Probook already had in it for no questions asked compatibility. If Hp used it to produce systems It's probably perfectly adequate. Hynix has been used in systems by all the big manufacturers for decades anyway. Disabled the battery, added it, powered on, and after the BIOS found it, I checked that it was recognized, then I it booted right into windows without a hitch. On a side note, I received a 2666mhz stick instead of the 2400. Technically I got a faster stick for the same price, though it's clocked down of course due to the board/CPU's max BUS of 2400..

I bought this to add more memory to my computer and it was easy to install fit great was an easy upgrade, great quality and was compatible with my device

Its RAM. I bought it for a specific task. It worked on MEMTEST. All sticks were as advertised. Vendor was solid.

Good quality Hynix SO-DIMM memory. I used it to double the memory in a laptop I received recently. It was the exactly the same make and model memory that was already in the laptop. Worked perfectly.Very happy with the purchase.

The product was positioned as "new", but there were traces of wear on memory chip contacts. It is obvious, because Hynix is not selling memory chips on retail market. The condition should be "refurbished".Photo evidence can not be presented because there must be very specific light conditions and angle to see the wearing traces.The memory is working well, but four stars because of dishonesty.

I will buy again...

Expanded my older laptop to 16 GB of RAM. Things are running smoother with less need to watch how many things are open. The extra RAM is running at the same speeds as the original RAM so there were no issues buying different lots of the same type memory stick.
