Perfect little (not-so-little!) torch. Works great - uses butane cans (just like the ones from the portable grills), gives a nice high-powered stream of blue-hot flame or you can adjust to a softer flame. Feels safe having clicker trigger separate from flow adjustments.

I got this torch and I'm very impressed with how easy it is to use. You simply turn the dial on the back of the torch to turn on the gas, then you pull the trigger and the torch will start. You can then control how strong the flame is by turning the back dial to control the amount of fuel to the torch. The dial near the flame will control how sharp the flame is - whether it is completely defined, or a wider flame. This allows for a lot of customization for different potential uses of the torch, depending on what you may want. To turn off, you turn the back dial to close the fuel and it quickly turns off. This works great for my experiments in acrylic painting, where I don't want the flame too strong. It's also great that you don't have to continually pull the trigger. Really a great torch, and much easier to use than the creme brulee torch I had been using before. Highly recommend this torch and can imagine many different applications! Great torch for the price!

Great little torch, works great.

Lights well and easy to use.

I used the torch four or five times with no problem. But then the torch started leaking. Even when the nozzle was turned off, gas would still run through it. When I ignited it. Flames came out of the side. I disengage it from the butane and it still took it a minute for all the gas to clear in the flames to stop.

Works well without taking up as much room as a full size Butane torch. Just be careful because letting go of the trigger does not turn off the torch like a full size propane torch. The knob on the back must be shut off instead. On the lowest heat setting there is very little noise and its too easy to think it is turned off. Don't get distracted and forget to turn off the gas knob before putting the torch on your work surface. Please don't ask me how I know this.

This is a helpful addition to my kitchen. I make pizzas in the microwave, and very often the top remains a bit soft and I miss the crispy crust and melted cheese flavor. This gas torch comes in handy.

Love how easy it was to use. The trigger makes lighting up the flame a cinch. The flames are pretty powerful, as compared to another head I had before. Overall very pleased.
