Like virtually every headband ever, this just fell right off of me, Velcro or no. The silk satin is very nice material and it seems well made. Regardless, I was hoping to use it at night to help protect my curly (3B) hair during sleep. Even if it had fit me well, it’s just too narrow for that. I gave this to my daughter to use when washing her face, and she like it, so at least it’s being put to use.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Slip silk headbands without sacrificing quality. I’m so glad I took the leap and tried this one out to keep my curly flyaways tamed whilst I slumbered. I love the velcro on this headband and how I don’t have to deal with having to fuss with it like I do with a normal headband. They certainly paid attention to detail with the velcro so that it wouldn’t snag the delicate silk or my hair. The silk is also so soft and feels pretty thick/durable. I’ve hand washed it about 2-3x with Woolite Delicates detergent, and I have not had any deterioration in the headband yet. I also don’t recall any color bleeding when I washed it either.

It was very beautifully packaged and would make a great gift for anyone who loves feeling luxurious... my only issue was it was too big and I have a normal size head but not a lot of hair so I wish the Velcro strip was longer so I could make it tight enough to not feel like it was slipping off my head. Also I didn’t want to get my face cream on it because I didn’t want to stain it! Lol too nice! I Probably will give it away for a Christmas present to someone else with more hair than me or add Velcro to it.

Unless you have very thick hair, and/or a small skull this headband slips immediately off hair. Only initially stays on if anchored on the forehead. Can't have the band positioned anywhere on the hair.

Love it except for one thing. Seems to always slip down over my eyes when sleeping. Probably not a product issue, but because of the shape of my head

I learned that silk is the material for any hair product, but this headband is worth to try.
