CD and DVD FastWipes, lint-free wipes for cleaning DVD, CD, PS1, PS2, XBOX & XBOX 360 Discs

I have several DVD's from a Christian Series that I love to watch...and unfortunately I have scratched up. When the dvd's started skipping etc. I knew it was time to find a product to clean them up. Now days when I pull up any product on AMAZON, I read reviews first. I was impressed with the number of GREAT reviews for this product, so I ordered it. I was NOT disappointed! MY DVDS ARE WORKING AGAIN...THANKS to these great cleaning wipes.

I bought this from Amazon thinking it was going to what all the other wipes I've tried in the past. To my huge surprise this was the product I was finnally looking for. I do clean alot of gaming disks and blue-ray disks and I have found out you can use each one approx. 50-100 times each and then you can put them in the wash unlike others that fall apart when you put them in the wash, but not thses. When there done I just hang them on the line inside my washer room until they are dry and then start all over. I'm still on the first 3 of ou the pack and work just great. I did wash them to make sure they work afterwords in case I need to ever buy more. You just take the cloth and go from the inside out around your disk and they will take off anything thats on them. They do not wipe of scratches, there for cleaning uour disks, like fingerprints, kids stick fingers, exc. I give these 5-star. They work brtter than anything else you will find.

I collect movies & TV Shows as a hobby & these wipes are great for removing light debris, smudges & fingerprints... really great. The are phenomenal on glasses too. You can use a single cloth quite a few times before it starts to leave it's own debris behind but you just grab the next one. A very good product.

These work somewhat well. They really don't seem like they are "treated" with anything. Scratches obviously aren't going to be removed, but smudges and fingerprints should. These seem to do an average to poor job unless you do the " hot breath blow" on the dvd. If treated that shouldn't be necessary. Also the package isn't very friendly for storage. Removing one is tricky. The wipes are loose inside with no real way to reseal . I ll use these up and try a different brand.

Dust is a horrible thing! And no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to keep it away from my stuff. I always have a problem cleaning movies and games with microfiber cloths because most of the time they just rub MORE dust on in the process. It drives me crazy. So when I found these, I was pretty excited to try them out. Package came exactly as described. They are much thinner than I thought, but work great. It's a little hard to take out just one. But they are very easy to use, and do a great job of removing dust and smudges without making the problem worse. Will definitely be buying again. I have small children who often put fingerprints on our kiddie DVDs. Typically, I clean them by "breathing" on the dirty DVD and using the inside of my T-shirt to wipe clean these DVDs. However, I began to look for another solution that didn't involve my T-shirt. This product ... the Allsop CD and DVD fast-wipes looked like a possible solution, so I ordered a pack. After giving them a try, I find they work well ... they don't get the worst of the fingerprints off without a little extra help (or in my case, a "breath" on the DVD), but they get about 95 percent of the fingerprints off quickly and easily. The material is lint free and works as advertised. 20 CD/DVD shaped wipes come per pack. Being shaped like a DVD is just a gimmick. I usually fold them in half or quarters before wiping, so if they were square-shaped (and thus had a little more material) it might actually be more helpful than being shaped like a circle. The instructions say that each wipe can be re-used until it becomes visably dirty or worn, so you can clean multiple DVDs per wipe. Overall, these are a good buy and work well at a reasonable price. Four stars.

I just bought my second pack of these wipes. I bought the first pack late last year and am finally running out of them. I was totally surprised that these wipes work so well. I have had DVD's that skipped and could see that there was junk on the surface. Taking one of these wipers and wiping the surface from the center to the edge (across the grooves) seems to get the job done. Today, my grandson managed to put part of his dinner on the bottom of a DVD he handed to me. When I put it in the player it skipped and then stopped. I pulled it out and saw the crud. I used a fresh wiper and Voila!! the DVD played without a hitch. I know I am probably not supposed to do this, but sometimes there is a minor bit of stuff on a DVD and I use a wiper and put it back in the package for another use or two. I haven't seen a downside. I truly think they are amazing.
