They're adequate for price....[edited]
These collars start out perfect, but get two packs if you plan to have the pups around for the full eight weeks before selling them off.On small breeds, these are probably ideal. My boxer litter however reached an age where the pups were chewing at each other, and these collars won't stand up to it by any means. One was eaten/disappeared. Others seemed to lose their Velcro stickiness (even after cleaning). They all faded (before ever being washed) from the bright colors you see here to duller collars that were harder to tell apart (light blue, gray, and white all dulled down to almost the same blue-gray miasma, for example). There's no snap or buckle to be eaten, so that's a big plus. They are *completely* adjustable (do not cut them to fit the puppy...the puppy grows...fast...trust me) to the size of the dog and allow for a LARGE change (these have enough length to them that our boxers could still wear them at 8 weeks.) They *do* last (with a few escapes) well enough...but towards the end, we would have preferred brighter less "worn" collars for showing the pups, and the faded coloring could have caused issues had the pups not developed distinctive markings by then. All in all, I feel they were adequate and worth what I paid for them, but I reluctantly admit I'd have preferred just a bit more staying power.Edit 7/31/2017 - All4Pet contacted me regarding this review and offered a complete refund. They also said they have forwarded my comments regarding the fading colors and weakening velcro to their design team. I do not feel a refund is required because I believe I did get 8 bucks worth of use and value out of this product even as-is. I am not going to change or remove my review either, however. Until such time as All4Pet posts that they have *changed* their product, the review remains entirely valid and applicable. But I wished anyone reading this to note that the company/manufacturer has said they will be making changes. I'm sure we'll see "new and improved" or something to let us know when the new line comes in :)

Great Buy for several pups especially!!
My Husky just had 6 puppies! 2 of the brown white reddish ones almost look identical.. one is Male one female... if I had not taken pictures as they were born and bought these collars - it would be very difficult to tell them apart at first glance!! These little collars not only prepare them for wearing a collar for their lifetime, ♡ but they also really help make sure you have each puppy that you think you do where you want them.. makes it easier to track their progress and their weights and their markings.. etc.. ♡♡ I looked at Walmart for a little dog collars like this and the cheapest I could find was a dollar 83 per collar for kitty collars.. and there were not velvety soft on the outside, they were very rough plastic like and would not have worked nearly as well and not nearly as adjustable as these are as I said! Plus even wal mart had NO cheaper set of ID Collars, they were way more expensive than the set here! So - I am very happy with this purchase!! Plus it is Memory item, that I can keep when the puppies go to new Loving homes. ♡ I also named each puppy and rode the name and the meaning of the name.. on their collar and I love them for that reason as well! Cannot beat the price for the quality of this product and the purpose it serves! : ) Happy Customer!!! I wish that when I would have bought my puppies a year ago that they would have had collars like these on them ! So that they would have been used to wearing a collar. THANK YOU ! I also loved the paperwork and charting that I ordered that matches the colors for keeping track of their weight and everything else.

Hook and loop Velcro on entire inside
Finally after ordering multiple puppy collars I found a brand that has hook and loop Velcro on the entire inside (which is the rougher Velcro) and the smooth Velcro on the entire top side of the collar. These are the only type of collars that stay on and are we usable for multiple litters and can handle washing! All the silly ones they sell now that say “ Double sided soft adjustable“ are a JOKE! They do not stay on for more than a day or two and because they’re double-sided soft Velcro they delaminate in the center when you wash them.

The velcro puppy id bands were perfect. We just had 7 lab puppies
The velcro puppy id bands were perfect. We just had 7 lab puppies. 3black, 2 chocolate and 2 yellow. We were able to put the bands on minutesafter each birth and it has been a great help in keeping track of thepuppies as they look so alike. Our pack had 12 colors which was plenty. We trimmed each color a little so it wasn't too bulky. You do need to becareful not to make the collars too tight and to check the colors daily asthe puppies grow so fast. You don't want to choke any of your preciousbabies. We are able to identify the puppies easily and without confusionand it makes tracking their growth and monitoring their activity so mucheasier. We received our order very quickly and are completely satisfied with ourpurchase experience. Thanks

Love them
I absolutely love these. They actually stay on the whole time. As you can see in the photos, that's the same puppy from first week of age to 7 weeks old. They go home at 8 weeks and the callers are still on. They have been washed, they have been bathed in them in the collar still stayed. I have not experienced any fading. We have large litters and this is perfect to tell some of them apart.

Watch what surface you put puppies on as they are velcro and sick to a lot of surfaces.
You have to be extremely careful what surface you put the puppies on because these collars are velcro and they will get stuck on certain blankets, sheets, carpet and to the other puppies collars. You also have to check the fit daily to make sure the collars aren’t to tight as the grow very fast. Also check for rub marks. Before my litters eyes opened and before they started walking I notice a few pups had little scabs from the collar rubbing. These collars aren’t reusable as they loose there sticking power. I bought a second pack as the first only lasted 3-4 weeks. My puppies are 5 w/o now and I replaced these collars with the buckles instead of velcro, the same brand. I would buy these both the again. Just be mindful of checking them multiple times a day. Best of luck!

AVOID - Injuries to my newborn puppies
I purchased these collars last year for our litter of puppies and was pleased with them. This year for my litter of puppies I purchased 2 packages so I could change them when they got dirty. Our 8 puppies were born Sunday evening and I put them on. On Friday through out the day I heard crying and they just didn't seem to settle. Even when they were nursing they were making whining noises. I began to worry that something was wrong with my puppies. When my daughter and I were checking them over, she discovered sores on the one pup that was most vocal. We began checking and all 8 puppies had sores around their neck and shoulders from the collars rubbing against their tender skin. We removed all the collars and replaced with coloured ribbon. Immediately the puppies stopped complaining and settled in to nurse and then for a sleep. No more crying since. I feel terrible that my puppies have been suffering and are injured from this product!!! After checking a couple collars I had left from the previous litter and compared with the new ones, I realize they were much softer. They have change their product. I'm not a critical person, far from it but I want to warn others - DO NOT BUY THESE COLLARS !!!

Very helpful for litter identification!
They work well and the vet loved having them. Made identifying the pups so much easier! For the vet and shots and perspective buyers and when deworming etc Easy to put on and take off.. They are a little stiff out of the package and when I left that feedback the company was wonderful to deal with as they are very interested in producing a good product. That was refreshing! Definitely worth buying and having. (Way better than using nail polish)

Sides are sharp but made it work.
Sides are sharp and backing is ruff. I ended up wrapping them backwards so soft side was toward pups skin. The only down fall was that the Velcro stuck to the blanket when wrapped backwards. Once enough fluff stuck to Velcro they didn’t stick to the blanket anymore. They were strong enough to last from birth until 8 weeks. They didn’t come off and were easy to adjust as pups grew. I would have gave them a 5 star if I didn’t have to put them on backwards.
