I live in an older apartment complex and decided that my old countertops just weren't cutting it anymore. They were dull and faded in spots and it brought down the whole look of my kitchen. Obviously, since I rent, I'm not going to shell out money for new countertops, so this was the next option I looked at. I was hesitant, because I went through a Contact paper phase in my younger years where I covered EVERYTHING in that stuff and Contact paper just does not look realistic no matter how careful you are with it. You can always tell it's a big sticker (essentially) and that's what I did not want with this stuff.I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it though. It really did make my countertops look brand new. I also covered the backsplash behind my oven with it and it just tied the whole thing together.Application was easy....but ANNOYING. It really is a GIANT sticker, and you want to use as few pieces as possible to get a seamless look. So smoothing it over the largest part of my countertop was incredibly time consuming, irritating, and my back hurt when I was done. I spent about 3 hours installing this on all my counters. However, I am SO pleased with the result. I did this in March of 2021, and it is currently August, and they still look JUST as good as it did on day one, and I am not particularly easy or careful on my countertops. I AM careful not to put hot pans on my counters though...just to be safe.I would recommend this if you're renting or simply just not able to install new countertops for whatever reason. Also, if you're unsure about how to install it or where to start, there are a TON of videos on YouTube that can walk you through the process. I spent a couple weeks searching out different videos until I felt comfortable with putting these on my counters without them looking like crap. So if I can do it, trust me...anyone can.Also...my landlord approves. She saw my kitchen when she came in to install a new dishwasher and she absolutely loved how it looked.

Hard to install..bubbles start to appear and does not stick very well.

We started out with MDF boards, stuck the countertop material down over lapping to wrap around underneath then poured a thin layer of epoxy on top to add durability and shine. They look great, i was quoted $9,000 for a nice granite and these look just as good and only i know its not real granite. Screwed to the cabinets real good even knocking on top they sound very close to stone and i saved about $8600.

This was a two person install. I created a custom desk top that was 12'x2' and wrapped underneath the front lip and on the back lip. The adhesion worked well even when we had to pull up a small section. I recommend installing the laminate paper on the surface of choice with room to work from all sides. Putting it on next to the walls and on the cabinets increased the difficulty.

Rips easily. Had to try three times to get a piece to cover the bathroom counter, first two ripped.Third time worked until a few days later we saw a tear in the corner from tension.Looks ok, most won’t notice the bubbles and tear.

I was looking for a small budget Remodeling and this product was ideal to work with. The result is very satisfying and the process is a little time-consuming as you have to take your time to avoid bubbles. It is worth to give it a try.

I used these to cover and update my kitchen counter tops. Not that easy to install. I didn’t like that it can rip easily and did a few times as well as formed bubbles and better results with two people. Definitely double check your measurements, take your time and have patience. Overall, I love the design and the results of my kitchen. I would recommend to family and friends for an inexpensive home update.

I would recommend this product anyone wanting to upgrade countertops on a budget. To make installation easy , you need two people to smooth paper on surface. Follow directions & video shown with product .

not that heat proof. will not catch fire even in direct flame but it melts so beside our stove we had to put up something to stop it from melting. but it is easy to install and looks great
