RC Plane - Remote Control Airplane RTF 2CH Ghost Airplane Indoor Outdoor 2.4GHz Radio Control Aircraft for Kids (2 Batteries)

This plane will fly in spite of itself. It is still a great beginner plane. It will sustain multiple crashes and keep on flying. I found it could be flown just by using the steering mechanism. It could be considered a little underpowered. It struggled to make headway into any form of wind. Ultimately, I lost this plane in a thermal flying over a field..those little engines could not get it out of the thermal, and then it flew out of range...but it was a tiny dot by the time that happened.

This flies well, but it should not be adverstised as an indoor plane. I have a large commons area in my school but it is not big enough for this. It's a fast plane that needs an outdoor field.

I bought this plane because it looked similar to one we had years ago that lasted forever. My son *loves* it and has been playing with it nonstop for 2 weeks. It is the first thing I've been able to get him to go outside for in months. It will end up in trees like any plane and someday it will be lost but it has been great fun in the meantime. It is durable with no small parts to break on crash landing and it just keeps going. Great for bigger kids and super fun. Buying several more as gifts.

Shipped with motors mis-installed, props hit body. Even when hand-launched into a moderate breeze, props are unable to sustain flight, even indoors, because the motors were both pointed inwards towards the center of the plane (glued in the wrong location) and with the props hitting the Styrofoam, the plane couldn't sustain flight even when hand-launched per instructions. Experienced RC pilot, was not expecting showstopper performance but it should be able to sustain or gain altitude under full throttle and ideal flight conditions.

The controls make this plane to difficult to fly in a small radius area. It might be good for larger flying areas but it doesn't turn fast enough for me. I also don't like that the controller doesn't have trim adjust or turbo mode.

This was a Christmas gift last year. It's now been nearly a year, and it still flies well and has good battery life. This was easy for my 12 year to learn to fly. Some gifts are so-so, however this one was a winner.
