When I open up the box I was sure these were single layer and I have been cheated. And to be honest with you, I decided to cut one open and take a picture of it to be sure. Yes, the center material is definitely different from the non-woven inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers will do absolutely no good because they’re pretty clumsy. The center earlier however is a decent material, fine pores.But I don’t mind telling you, if you want a very lightweight minimalist mask, it might be perfect for you. I think maybe they’re too flimsy to do much good. But again, that said her later is better than I thought it would be. So I’m just going to give it three stars for an hour because I honestly have very mixed feelings on this product. I only bought it because it was black and advertised itself is three layers. As a nurse I was hoping for a more substantial bridge of nose wire, and found them to have a funny odor. Good value for those who simply want to comply with mask mandate for general public.

These masks are good quality and the only complaint my family has is that it's hard to determine the inside vs. The outside because they are all black. I got 2 boxes for about 20 which is a good deal. I usually tie the ends of the loops on my masks to make them fit closer to my face and these work fine for that. They don't break off.

I've purchased four of this product and it's been great! It fits perfectly to me and it's not very expensive considering it's ASTM level 1 and it has 3 layers.

Comfortable mask that fits right and looks great. The major downside is the thinness of it but it that may be a plus for those that want more breathability. Ideal as a backup mask for a short trip somewhere or to use as a double mask.Overall good quality, no weird or funky smells and good value.

Very nice masks. Comfortable and I feel confident they are doing their job. Better than the surgical masks I wear when in contact with patients. Around the station, I wear these masks about 16 hours a day and often forget they're even on.Surgical masks are undeniably better than cloth masks. One benefit of these are that the water from rain/snow seems to bead up and can be wiped off. Get a cloth mask wet and they are totally worthless.

This a great mask, easy to breath through, medical type design. However, after long periods of more than 3 hours or so (on the job)... The elastic ear loops cause irritation behind the ears. Stretching them out doesn't work either. Best for short jaunts to the store etc.

After brief research, I believed anything marked "ASTM" was better protection than the cheap masks. But now I've read that Level 2 or 3, even though more expensive, should have been my choice. Maybe I'll just wear two of my Level 1.
