Amplified Holy Bible, Compact, Hardcover: Captures the Full Meaning Behind the Original Greek and Hebrew

This is my first amplified bible I've owned, I love all that is packed in to each verse! Helps give a good perspective as to what is being said in the scriptures! It also references verses elsewhere in the bible pointing to similar Truths being made! It also fits perfectly in my jacket pocket with is nice. I take it to church every Sunday! Overall this bible is worth every 5 stars especially for the price.Plus, I've been in a nkjv bible for the longest time, and this was definitely a nice switch up to my usual!

I'm glad I purchased the compact bible even though the font is so small that I am going to have to use readers that are more powerful and after a few days I did get accustomed to the small print, HOWEVER the packaging at the warehouse had seven items thrown into the same box and the bible did not have its own protective box OR any protective covering. I may have received a bible that someone returned. I don't know but consequently the pages in the bible we're wrinkled from having a couple deodorants that impacted against the bible in transit. They were still lodged inside the bible. So that was not acceptable packing. But I kept the bible as it is a nice quality bible.

I enjoy reading from the Amplified Bible, I have a larger one in paper but wanted a stronger cover. The text print size is easy to read, but I have great up close vision. It fits in a large purse and the hard cover protects the text. It is not heavy and over all a great personal Bible.

My last Amplified Bible was getting old. So I got this compact one. Easy to read and love that it has the chapters titled.

I love the Amplified translation and this compact is easy to carry with you. It is small, but no so much that you cannot read it. The words are very clear. I also love giving this compact edition as gifts!

Very nice little Bible to put in your luggage on a trip. However, the print is extremely small and difficult to read, at least for me (I wear trifocals). I'm currently looking for a standard-print version. However, if you can deal with the small print, this would be a nice travel Bible.

My mistake was I didn't realize it would be so small and the words are hard to see for an elderly woman.
