Absolutely love this phone mount. I ride a Harley Davidson Sporster and was worried about the sturdiness of the phone mount while traveling the interstate or highway roads at 60 mph. I have to say this mount barely blows in the breeze. Super sturdy. I cannot quite get the angle I want for full view of GPS but that is only due to my handle bar style not the product. I bought one for my boyfriend as well for his motorcycle. Highly recommend

It does do what it is supposed to do, hold a phone. However I am compelled to inform about a few shortcomings: the corner grippers are a specific size. So your phone will only fit best and not raddle around if it fits snug. You can try adding some extra foam or gummie spacers if you have a raddle problem. The retracting button will not activate if the backing of your phone is soft or has a void pocket. I had to add several plastic cards to my phone’s pocket to get the button to work. Ended up buying a solid phone case. For aggressive trail riding the attachment seems a little week. My first trip out, I didn’t get the attachment tight enough. The holder came loose and I lost the both plastic spacers. My phone fell out of the holder once. Make sure you add a lanyard or a band as a secondary containment. All may be fine for asphalt riding but for aggressive off road, not so much.

The media could not be loaded.  I had previously purchased one for my bicycle, and was extremely happy with the design and functionality. EASY one handed phone attachment and removal. I have ridden down some cobblestone streets that almost jarred my teeth but the phone holder held my phone securely and didn't move. This one I purchased for my wife's bike. We both use the "Map My Ride" app and the holder keeps our phones securely in place like a mini dashboard. I would definately recommend these to anyone.

So, having recently purchased my bike, I have been slowly accessorizing. A phone mount was next up, and like everything else these days, there are a gazillion options. I chose this one because the mechanism intrigued me and I can honestly say it has not disappointed AT ALL. I caught it when there was coupon for Prime Day, so it only cost me $13.99 and its been the best $13.99 I've spent in a long time. I have used it with an old iPhone 6s+, and iPhone 6s, and an iPhone XR. All three phones have had a case on them, so they are all different sizes and this Tiakia adjusts automatically and holds them all firmly in place. They don't budge! Time will tell on the long term durability, but 400 miles in and I'm very happy!

Would have been all 5 stars if it had fit on my mountain bike handlebars. Still keeping it to use on my cruiser bike. Clamps down on my iPhone 11 Pro Max like grim death. Mounting hardware is well made. Price is very reasonable for a well made product.

This is a sturdy heavy duty mount. it went on fast and the parts were solid. Super easy to use. If you are a Road bike person and need to save a few ounces it might not be for your, for everyone else its great. very simple to use one handed for that random quick photo opp and then it self tightens when you put it back. I will update if anything breaks. There are quite a few moving parts, Will it stand the test of time???

This thing is almost perfect! Sturdy while riding, not too hard to install, quick clamping and quick release are excellent. The only thing I didn't like is that I cannot use my rear camera to record video because the phone mount blocks the lenses on the back of my Galaxy S10+. Would love to capture video while riding through some of the trails I go to.

Wish the inside is greased, the spring and gears are quite loud. Also wish the ball receiver side is metal. The ball itself is aluminum, but the rest of them are in plastic. This unit will expose to the sun a lot, and I wouldn't mind to pay more for a full metal version if they do release one in the future.

Ich hatte vorher den populären und gut-rezensierten Halter von G*****. Ich fand den eigentlich auch schon gut, aber leider hat er einen heftigen Sturz nicht überstanden - was man dem Halter aber nich anlasten kann.Als Ersatz habe ich dann diesen gewählt, weil er preiswerter war und interessante Features hat, die ihn für mich in der Praxis zu einer noch besseren Wahl machen. Zu nennen wäre hier zunächst die Kugelkopfhalterung aus Aluminium, die massiv und stabil ist.In der Anwendung gefällt mir aber vor allem der Rastmechanismus, der durch einen kleinen Knopf in der Mitte durch Auflegen des Handys ausgelöst und durch Drücken der seitlichen Tasten zurückgesetzt wird. Das ermöglicht tatsächlich ein schnelles, einhändiges Handling, was bei dem Konkurrenzprodukt nicht möglich war.Hatte zunächst Bedenken, ob das auch dauerhaft funktioniert, aber inzwischen hat der Halter sich auch schon bei vielen Trail-Einsätzen bewährt.

Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich die Halterung gerade erst einmal bei einem Tagesausflug ausprobieren konnte. Bisher bin ich aber sehr zufrieden. Der Halter sitzt fest am Lenker und während der Fahrt - auch auf etwas holpriger Strecke - hat nichts gewackelt oder sich verschoben. Für diesen Halter habe ich mich entschieden, da man das Smartphone per seitlichem Druck sehr schnell aus der Halterung nehmen und auch wieder reindrücken kann. Ich hatte vorher eine Halterung eines anderen Herstellers ausprobiert, wo ich umständlich alles erst per Drehschrauben lösen musste. Da ich gern zwischendurch mal fotografiere, muss das Smartphone schnell zur Hand sein. Das dauerte mir mit dem Schraubsystem viel zu lang. Dieses System ist super und ich finde das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch in Ordnung.Nachtrag: Inzwischen habe ich schon etliche Fahrradtouren mit dem Halter hinter mir und bin immer noch sehr zufrieden damit.

Funktioniert bei mir wie beschrieben. Mit ein bißchen Schwung klappt die Auslösung sogar mit Smartphone-Hülle, die etwas weicher ist als das Smartphone selbst. Zusammen mit einem Adapterkabel am Pedelec-Bordcomputer eine gute Kombination für ausgedehnte TourenDas Ding kann ohne Werkzeug nicht demontiert werden, kann also guten Gewissens am Rad bleiben, was mir wichtig ist.

Ich hatte mir die Halterung für meinen Scooter zugelegt um bei Bedarf für längere und unbekannte Strecken das Smartphone als Navi zu nutzen. Leider ist mir trotz korekter Montage das Smartphone nach wenigen Hundert Metern aus der Halterung geflogen und auf der Straße gelandet (Spider-App lässt grüßen) absolut ärgerlich, so habe ich sie wieder abgebaut. Wie ihr euch denken könnt war die Straße natürlich eben und da darf sowas nicht passieren. An sich eine schöne Halterung mit einfachen Prinzip die jedoch nicht hält was sie verrspricht.
