The current most updated 2020 Ring Light
The ring light market is pretty saturated and so when I began my journey through the different brand research and comparing all the features (and others reviews) this really dug a deep a rabbit hole spanning over a week to decide which to get. 18”, 19” and 20” lights I personally found the size difference to be negligible enough to instead compare them in a group setting instead of bring them up as a (best 18” ring light, best 19”, etc.). So by moving into it as a best ring like in the 18-20” range I’ve come to this one.I made my decision after considering prices of competitors all floating in the same range of each other I made my final decision on this Fositan RL-20A LED 20 inch ring light model.Aside from its competitive price, I came to realize that the small differences amongst each ring light actually has a bigger picture to consider and that’s this brands ring light currently has the newest/most upgraded improvements all ring lights in its size and price range. Kind of like when you go car shopping and compare a 2018 to a 2019 model. Unless it’s a known major change in architecture, its more likely the minor change and the changes I found in this 2020 model in comparison to the other products was enough to take the leap, why not get the latest and greatest when they hover in the same price range? In comparison to others, the upgrades are:- The ring light was stand was revamped to be sturdier along with a non-slip padding on the toes.- Attachable selfie mirror- On the ring light itself there’s a charging port next to the DC plug that I found handy for general use but it doubles as a great choice for content creators that blog, go live on media platforms, and of course folks doing videos especially for beauty care.So how was the actual light?Initial impressions out the box everything arrived safely, plugged it in and no issues. Tinkering with the light knobs I can go from a somber dim an evening sun to a bright white movie set. It’s advertised to not have any harmful UV or infrared radiation which is very reassuring to hear.I found the USB port on the back of the ring light particularly handy for charging my phone while its hooked up! I see it advertised as a smart way to keep your phone charged while you’re live streaming like on instagram and I give major kudos for that idea. The ring light in our house was used for a bit of a in-home nail salon during these pandemic times and saw its use in a selfie mode for photos. In both scenarios, it worked spectacularly! So far I can’t find any faults with it things its working smoothly as intended everyone’s pretty happy with it.So far everything about this ring light has lived up to my expectations. It doesn’t feel cheaply made like it’ll fall apart in a few uses. As a fairly informed consumer I feel pretty satisfied and confident about my purchase after all the days of research. I’ll happily come back and update this if this changes!

Great lighting!
Great lighting with dimmable function! The actual diameter infrastructure gave more than enough illuminating lights to showcase my photos. Ring has a regular mirror and a magnifying sides, very handy for a quick touch up. Ring came with the whole set-up, stand, bag, phone holder, remote control, USB adapters.... literally the whole shabang! It was very easy to setup with grip bottoms on the stand prevents from losing grip and tumbling over. Overall, it’s a great addition to my photography collection and best of all... great price!

Deceiving Item and reviews
Ok, I have never left a review for any product before. Usually things are pretty good and if I am not satisfied I ignore it and return it, easy enough. But for this Item I want there to be a real review for people to see ( I dont believe any of the other ones on here are not bought) First when I opened the package I immediately and I mean first touch and view immediately knew this item was super cheap. Not worth even the reasonable price it is sold for if it was just cheap. I went from a smile I had from being excited to get the knew led halo light I thought I was getting , to a frown knowing I was probably going to be disappointed from that moment on. But, I continued to open it hoping I would be wrong( maybe I would be pleasantly surprised) but sadly, no, I was right. The more I opened and inspected, the more I was disappointed . The diffuser was too big so one section wouldn't even fit on the halo, all the way to the entire thing feeling less qualitative that a dollar store toy. But I continued. Took out the stand( which is also very cheap) went to put the light on the stand and the two pieces where definatly not made for each other. They fit together like a cup on the end of a broom stick, very wobbly , so be careful not to touch it while taking pictures because it will move. The power supply was about the best thing about it, the ends of those fit nice. I figured, Ill give it a full chance. The little fixture for the phone fixture to fit on felt again like dollar store( or worse ) toy material. The phone holder fit ok. Once in place I turned the lights on and they where ok. They did what they said what they would do, sorta . The light went from blue to yellow but not in a way that you would expect photo lights to but more of an actual blue or yellow. It also went from dim to bright.I proceeded to take some pictures of what I would take pictures of and, It was kinda crazy but a big credit goes out to iPhone for the camera being able to quickly adjust and correct the light that was being used. You would see things turn blue but the iPhone would quickly correct it. Then turn it slowly then fast to the other side and watch the iPhone quickly ( but not instant) correct it. The only thing the camera seemed to be using the light for, was light. It was in a circle around the subject, so it was lit all around. hmmm But whether bright ,dim, blue or yellow the iPhone corrected it ,so that the pic was not weirdly too blue or yellow but because of auto correct. I took some without and just as expected, horrible. So in conclusion, if it was $10. Id say you had something, But since it is more than $10 I am saying rip off. I dont even want to see how long it takes before it starts to malfunction and or fall apart. So sad, because I wasn't trying to get a top dollar product. I knew it would be amateur but I did not count on it being more like a toy that would break within a week. The bag feels cheap enough that i would be scared of it ripping if i used it like i use my backpack ,all the way to the rest of it. It is just that bad. I hope this helps people. Amazon needs to get stricter on quality control of what people are selling. Amazon has been a very good place to buy things but it is starting to turn into a place where you cant trust what your buying. I pray it gets back to where it was. The return procedure is top notch but if quality control could get better, time and money could be saved for Amazon

Bright bright bright !
The media could not be loaded. Just got this in the mail and I couldn’t wait to try it out. Omg it’s bright , just what I needed to take some indoor pictures for my action figure . Assemble is very easy , if I can put it together, anyone can. The tripod can be adjusted to way high, didn’t measure it tho since i only need it for normal height.Again, it’s VERY bright and brightness can be adjusted , also the light color can change from day light to warm light with a knob.Still have to play with it some more to get the best result. My first impression is my money well spent.
