I’m diabetic and someone suggested this product to me a while ago to manage my sugar and it really does work. I used to take it in conjunction with my prescribed medication but after about 5 months, I was able to get off the medication with my doctors approval. Sometimes when I know I’ve eaten a too many carbs, I’ll also take it. And I’ve tried other brands but this particular brand for the cinnamon seems to work the best for me.

My husband takes these cinnamon caps as a dietary supplement due to diabetes. Personally, I would not take capsules, because I love the flavor of cinnamon, and if I needed it, I would use it directly. He, however, doesn't want to be bothered eating it in the form of a flavoring powder or as a stick. I left the "flavor" assessment blank, because capsules are flavorless. However, this particular brand comes in an easy-to-swallow size, and is a good value for the price.

I have heard that cinnamon is great for metabolism. There's not a lot of studies into that. In my experience it's great to cut my sugar cravings. I take the two pills after lunch. Then I avoid the mid afternoon slump. That's where I would grab a high sugar and high calorie snack. I don't know. I'm usually satisfied with a apple or granola bar. So in that way this supplement is hedlping me with weight loss.

Gave to my husband who was on insulin for a lot of years , his doctor said he would always need it cause he was not real overweight so chance him getting off the insulin. But he did now only pills and a lot happier

There are many homeopathic uses for cinnamon. As with all such herbal supplements, you just have to take them to see if they work. Note: I was taking one in the morning and one in the evening. Then, after a while, I started smelling cinnamon rolls everywhere. So I cut back to one at night. That seems to have cleared up my sense of smell -- at least I only smell cinnamon rolls at the bakery..
