“Where the Buoys Are” is a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle based on the work of famed folk artist Charles Wysocki. Colorful buoys hang from the stern of the shipwrecked boat as seagulls fly high above and perch on the ship with other feathered friends like the pelican. Old Glory is waving proudly with the help of the ocean breeze while New England's finest buoymaker, Ezra Farrington Snipe sleeps in his driftwood made rocking chair as he waits to sell his buoys. An anchor, oars, and row boat are some of the items you will find on shore. For more than 40 years Charles Wysocki enjoyed his love affair with life and Americana, and through his imaginative and colorful artwork, touched the hearts of millions worldwide. "Chuck" felt a special kinship with puzzlers who share in the creative process by building his paintings one piece at a time. Every Buffalo Games jigsaw puzzle is manufactured from recycled puzzle board. s signature Perfect Snap™. A bonus puzzle poster is also included so that you have a handy reference of what the completed puzzle should look like while you put yours together.

Enjoyable & Easy to Assemble Puzzle
This was an enjoyable puzzle. It was pretty easy to complete. I was only biting my nails (figuratively) to the end because the puzzle pieces were not in a bag (within in the box), just the loose pieces in the box -- and the box had a hole in it. Take caution: while I do recommend the purchase of this puzzle, be wary because the way the puzzle is packaged it invites missing pieces. To add: there was a poster included.

Another Great Wysocki Puzzle
I am an avid dissectologist, as is my wife and I am a huge Charles Wysocki fan. Of all of his art and therein puzzles crafted from his art, this one struck me as being a little different from his regular style/ subject matter, which was what drew me to it. I love depictions of sailing and the sea as well as the era he generally depicts. The pieces are the standard 1000 size from Buffalo games and the cut quality is fine (we find around 2-3 slightly damaged pieces per puzzle but they fit fine). We do 1-2 puzzles a week to wind down for the night and find them relaxing assuming they do not have an excess of sky.

Fun puzzle
I like the contrasts and subject matter of the puzzle. pieces are sturdy enough that you don't worry about breakage. Also, the fit together well so I didn't have to wonder if the piece actually was the correct one for that spot

Another great Buffalo Games product
The pieces interlock very well but aren’t too hard to get apart when it’s ready to tear down. The pieces are somewhat uniform in size and aren’t too thick to be “woody” but not so thin that they bend. The colors are sharp and rich. This brand has an endless number of scenes at reasonable prices - especially if you watch for temporary discounts. Puzzles are how we get through long dreary winters without going crazy!
