Frankly I'm honored to receive such high quality ginseng. From roots 12 years of age, extracted from 6,000 milligrams, this superior elixir delivers everything you need out of a non-caffeinated "stimulant" and probably more than most people are used to, or you can instead use extracts made from 2,000 mg. Mixed with a small amount of honey rather than alcohol, honey is a natural preservative and antibiotic. It's also used medically to protect and heal wounds. I gave it a 5 for flavor not because of its sweetness but because of its tart, real black-tar ginseng extract bite. This--and the results--is how I know it's the real thing. I guess most people don't know it, but ginseng protects androgen receptors from stressors both anxiety-related/metabolic and chemical, and it upregulates estrogen receptors in a safe manner, as opposed to genistein from soy. You can take all the supplements and T-boosters you want, but if your receptors are blocked by common chemicals or out-gunned by cortisol and sugars, you're swimming against the tide. For instance, still-present BPA badly mimics estrogen and incompletely transcribes DNA, sometimes doing so for no reason when not building a new cell. And worse (if it can get worse), it blocks androgen receptors. When you consider that male brains are only made by the direct action of testosterone and its metabolites on brain cells, and the default result is "female", you can see a lot of the modern-day problems such as built-in anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, and increased aggression in children--as well as gender variation--being formed by incomplete construction. Thus, due to all the chemicals around us that get in us, I can't consider anyone to be optimizing their athletic potential or health who isn't using ginseng at least occasionally (though it's not to be used if pregnant or nursing). Again, if you want the real, this is the deal. It just happens to be at a good price, too.

Been taking this a while, I feel much better and Definitely helps with sore joints ! I stopped taking it for a week and noticed a big difference that wasn't good!! Highly Recommend !!!
