Yes, but the gun would not shoot the darts. We had to end up using a nerf gun we already had and that one worked fine.

Q: Gun is not powerful enough to push the darts far away. The darts are coming out only about 1 to 2 feet. Is there a trick to it?

Sometimes that would happen to me too. The toy is no good. Sometimes the targets would go down and not come back up. Or they wouldn’t go down. The toy is just awful there is no trick to it. Looks like a cool toy and all but not made well. Send it back if u can

Try to change batteries. Make sure button is in the “on” position before starting game.
