Google Rover RB20T and you will find what I found out the hard way. There is no resonator! I returned the banjo with a note suggesting they make it clear this is an open back instrument, but this apparently fell on deaf ears. I found a great banjo (believe it or not) from Walmart's web site. The brand is Trinity River and comes with a gig bag for under $200.00 with free shipping.

Title says "resonator tenor banjo", but the description says "open back". which is it? you need to fix your title/description so they match!

how much difference in string tension is there between 4 string banjo and 5 string banjo?

The 4 string tenor and the five string are two different instruments. They are tuned differently and played differently. String tension doesn't come into play here.
