Reusable Portable Close FIT Comfort Male Advantage Urinal System with Spill Proof Collection Bag

Perfect for my husband's anatomy and output. Definitely superior to the standard urinal bottle for men who are mostly confined to bed. We disinfect the entire system daily and have not noticed any odor. The bag clips attach easily to the metal bed frame. The system worked perfectly for three months until the bag sprang a leak which cannot be repaired. We have ordered a new system however, developers should endeavor to develop a longer lasting bag or system components which are replaceable and interchangeable .

This is being used for an ALS condition. I'll tell you everything I know. 1. Place the bag portion in a bucket ( in case we ever spring a leak and easy transport) and l hang the cup by the handle up on a hook with the bucket and bag on the floor for easy storage. Grab cup in one hand bucket in other for easy transport. 2. Place the bucket at bottom of bed run the tube and cup up between his legs for easy use while lying down. If coming in thru the side lying down place tubing under their leg and snake cup up to the penis. 3. Always keep the bottom of cup at a slightly lower angle WHERE THE TUBING ATTACHES to prevent backflow. Always keep the cup slightly higher than the tubing and bag so liquids flow into cup and drain down into bag. Remember gravity is moving the liquids down. 4. When cleaning urinal do not overfill. Do not use very hot water. It will turn the bag into a balloon. I know this! Ha 5. Always carry holding cup in one hand and bucket with handle in the other. Do not carry by tubing. Handle your urinal with care. 6. When emptying pick up out of bucket by plastic hooks. Push the button to open and ALWAYS immediately close back. Make certain button is all the way closed. It's easy in the middle of the night to only get it partially closed. You will probably only do this once like I did. But remember it's in a bucket so pee will still be contained. 7. I empty after every 2 pees so it doesn't overfill or get too heavy putting too much stress on the bag or tubing. 8. Clean every day. I fill a pitcher and add a splash of pinesol and run thru urinal. 9. Can also be used when sitting on the toliet and penis doesn't fit down into toliet. 10. This is absolutely the best for a man with a small or retracted penis. The cup fits closely up against the public bone. 11. I have had it for 2 months use everyday and it is holding up well. I do try to take care not to put any undue stress on it and keep it clean. Probably need to order another for backup because I don't ever want to be without this.

The product is a great idea and works well until flaw kicks in and entire product has to be thrown out (after only 1 week of use). I ordered a replacement to see if it is better and am waiting for results. In the meantime, the seller (Advantage Urinal) has not responded to my correspondence to them and their phone goes straight to message center which is full and cannot take messages. Very unhappy with seller but hopeful this 2nd product doesn’t break down as quickly (at $50.00 a pop).

We decided to try these for my husband, who is a quadriplegic, when he sleeps so that he does not have to wear a diaper all the time. The diapers were causing rashes. He sleeps completely on his side because he cannot swallow and that keeps him from choking, so we are able to prop the urinal up and brace it so it stays in place (for the most part). We do have times when it gets shifted, but this has helped him a lot. We use this when he naps in the afternoon and all night. Since we are using it so much, the bags start to leak on us after about a month of use. I empty and wash them out twice a day. They wear out where the bag bends to reinsert the tube. We are on our 4th one since September. Overall they are great for what they are intended.

This is the best collector for older men especially in bed. Doesn't get 100 percent without help but pretty close. I'm getting a back up and I highly recommend this product. Also comfortable on their genitals.

It is poorly designed, the urinal itself is too small. Urine comes pouring out! And because they do not take returns for anything other than a manufacturer defect, and this is clearly a poorly thought out designed urinal, I am unable to get my money back. I had purchased the regular male urinal a year ago, ad it held up until a hole appeared where the handle met the urinal causing unnecessary leakage. It is a good product (the original) but has some issues. I ordered a new one, and within a week, the hook that you attach to the bed snapped off. I am too overloaded being a caregiver for my fiance, that I did not return it, I just work around its manufacturing defect. I would highly advise that the manufacturer, step up their quality control standards.I have spent way too much money on these. They are great in concept, but unless the mfg inspects for defects, I will not be purchasing anymore from this vendor.

Okay, we have probably 8 urinals that we tried before we got this model. My husband cannot sit up without help and this makes it so that his can roll to his side and press the foam top around his privates and use without any spills (so far 7 nights use). And I (his night time caregiver) am getting more and better sleep because of this urinal. To clean (I have a sink next to the toilet) I empty the waste into the toilet and then add soap and hot water into the the opening of the urinal with the valve closed. Slosh around. Then I open the valve over the toilet as I continually fill the urinal with HOT water until the soap is gone. I am waiting to hear from the manufacturer what disinfectants they recommend as I don't want to damage the plastic. UPDATE from the manufacturer: "Really you can use any disinfectant from the store. We have tested the systems with straight bleach for 6 weeks and it held up fine. The hardest thing unfortunately on the bag is the urine itself. So whatever you use will work great!"

The strap on this is for a small waisted man. It will not fit a 35 inc waist other than that it is well made and does what it is supposed to. Better made than a lot out there.

Purchased this for husband who had an injury and is bed bound, so he can have a pee at night when he is unattended. It has been such a great help for us to feel he is safe and also good for him to have independence and not have to get help when he need to urinate at night. This urinal system is easy to use and removes the risk of any spillage. Easy to empty and rinse with cold water and vinegar to clean in the morning. He is still in hospital but was finding that sometimes when he buzzes for a nurse to come help him at night, if they are busy, it takes them a while to come, so this way he can have his pee, and go back to sleep. The nurses think it is great too. It hangs on the side of his bed on the hook where they put the regular hospital bladder catheters. but could be easily attached securely to a regular bed, and we'll be taking it home with us.

After my brothers stroke we began to have problems with the urinals we found. They were uncomfortable and hard to use,One resembled a milk jug with a spout,others hurt him actually scraping him spills on the bed and floor needed middle of the night bed changing, and worse was the odor of urine throughout my home. When I saw your product I knew I had to try it. After his 1st use he loved it. it turned out to be everything you promised and more. simple to use, comfortable,, no mess or spills and middle of the night bed changes.
