A must-read for quilt lovers.
I love the stories about the quilts and the quiltmakers. I love history and I love quilts, and this book is a wonderful amalgam. A must-read for anyone who loves the look of old quilts and also loves making new quilts.

looks great
we bought this book for my mother-in-law, because she has strong ties to PEI. Because it is a gift I haven't wanted to READ it, but just thumbed through it quickly. It looks like it has lots of history so great for reading and as a reference book, even for a non-quilter. I'm hoping I'll be able to borrow it once we give it to her!

Love the book
Is an amaizing book, the stories are wonderful and the images too. I love PEI. I visited the Island on 2008 and it's great to read stories about its inhabitants. I loved to read the story about the Lucy Maud Montgomery's crazy quilt. I visited the quilt gallery in O'Leary and the quilts that I saw there are amaizing. I think quilting is great.

A delightful read
As the grandchild of a Prince Edward Island native it was a very sweet read. Lots of historical reference and especially meaningful for me as a quilter. Wonderful old photos and insight into life on the island.
