Great security light for the garden
This has been great for our garden which is about 20m long, when the light comes on, it lights up the whole area (obviously further away is darker but still gets coverage). It also gives a really nice orange glow compared to the normal white ones. My only complaint is that there isn’t an option between 2 and 10mins for it to stay on after trigger, a 5min option would be ideal.

Perfect option
Used in garden for lighting path. Can be switched off at external socket when the wind sets it off. Limited settings for timing but does not come on until its "fully" dark which is suitable for the setting.

Short cable
This is really good, easy to fit the only thing to know is that the cable is short and you may need to join it

Unfortunately a waste of money.
Bought and installed no problem. Worked exactly as it should. On the first real day of bad weather (approx 3 to 4 weeks after purchase) I noticed the light going on and off every few minutes. No animals around or people... so seemed strange. Turned it off at the mains. Day after went to look to see if there was anything untoward and saw that the motion detecter had filled with water causing the light to come on and off. Light itself is nice and bright but I would try to make the motion detected fully waterproof if you can. (Shouldn't have to do that though to be clear).. so maybe other people got lucky? I certainly didn't and will now have to look for a new one. Will be contacting Amazon for a refund. Shame as it would have been perfect for what I needed.

Easy enough to istall if you happen to have an outside socket in the perfect place.
Despite having numerous outside sockets none happened to be at the top of the wall so they were useless.....The 1m of supplied cabling is a bit of a joke but easy enough to cut in a longer cable....if you happen to have a spare plug. Otherwise, with the supplied moulded plug, you have to make two joins.Curreny working and the day night switch is doing it's job but the sensor is a bit waff, have to be about 4m before it picks up on motion.

Superb security light
This is a very neat unit, and gives a very good level of lighting - ideal for going round to the garage back door on a winter's night. Of course being mains powered it is not as easy to install as a solar powered unit, but the passage between our house and garage is in deep shadow, so solar lights do not get enough sunlight in the winter to operate reliably. This 35W unit replaces my old one which used a 150W tube, so it is far more economic to run.
