Really like this product
Love this case. I just clip it to my pants for easy access and it works perfectly. The buttons are not impede in any way. I will admit I was a little nervous about the thickness since I am always dropping things but it actually works well for this case

The ability to have a hinged case is amazing!
I've had other cases for my iPod for a number of years but when I found this particular case, I knew it was the one I desperately needed! The others were all plastic with a plastic clip that would break off of my belt whenever the iPod got caught on something or I needed to check on what time I was at in any particular podcast, which became very frustrating. This case has a spring clip to prevent these issues from occurring (unless you put a large amount of strain upon the clip), which provides for a more stress-free listening experience for me, which is what I was searching for. I highly recommend this product!

It does what I need it to do
I don't see the clipping mechanism lasting very long to be honest, but that's not what I bought it for. I needed a better case than the flimsy one I was using previously and this one seemed like it would fit the bill. It's definitely more rigid, and feels a lot sturdier.It's a little hard to use the volume bar because of the rigid material, but I love - and I can't stress this enough - LOVE that this case separates the volume bar into 3 distinct buttons. That said, I still sometimes push the wrong button because it's kind of hard to fiddle with while it's clipped to my waistband when I'm outside walking or jogging. It's still a much appreciated feature.Overall a pretty good case.

Great fit
Great fit and function. The clip works well and the ear phone jack still accessible. Easy to get on and off.

Covers all buttons, no breathing space
I had a flexible cover with a small clip made by Tranesca. It has spaces in the cover so you used the original buttons and didn't have to press cover (hard?) to get it to work. The back is hard plastic. Not what I wanted. Odd - cause the "free" clear cover has openings for all the buttons but no clip. I am not even going to try to put this on my ipod. Waste of money.

Short life
I have owned three of these cases. Fits the apple device well and easily clips to my thin material shorts. The problem is the clip always breaks after a few months use. I had hoped manufacturer would have remedied this issue by now.
