Women's Olivia High Rise Tummy Control Legging

I've been looking for leggings with that cute v shape in the back, which are shockingly hard to find outside of one very well known and expensive brand, so these were a must buy for me. I purchased a medium in the color "Juniper Green". For reference, I'm normally a medium in leggings, 6/8 in pants, 5'2" 1/2, and my measurements are around 39-31-39-42 (bust-waist-hip-butt). The color is gorgeous and is fairly accurate to the photos, just a bit less of a brown green. I don't mind. The fit is also really nice, but I do think I may have fit better into a small, as the medium is baggy on me in some areas. I'm thinking of purchasing a small and then keeping whichever of the two fit best. These DO have an elastic band around the top of the waistband, which I personally don't love, but it isn't too snug, so it doesn't muffin top. Also, the material of these is a bit different than what I was expecting (keep in mind that I didn't check the material content on the page before buying). These feel a bit more like cotton and don't have the stretch that a lot of leggings have, though I wouldn't say they're stiff or anything like that. That just means that they don't mold to your body quite as nicely as a very stretchy pair would. I still find these to be super flattering (they make my butt look amazing), I just don't think they'll do as well during a sweaty gym session. They seem like the type of material that would show sweat and would take a little longer to dry. I'm thinking these are going to be more of a light gym day or athleisure pair for me, unless I'm OK with showing a lot of sweat. They do also have an odd mesh panel that goes around the inside of the waistband. It doesn't feel as comfortable as it would if it were just the same material as the rest of the pants, but I'm thinking it's meant to make the material a bit stiffer there and possibly absorb sweat as well. I don't mind it and it isn't abrasive, though I haven't tested it in the gym yet.The one con I have is that these are not completely squat proof (see pic), which is a big deal for me. I hate having to worry about something like that with gym leggings because I don't want to have to worry about which pair I wear on certain gym days. Thankfully it isn't too obvious with this color and I think it's doable if I just cut the inner white tag off, so I still plan on keeping them. I just worry it will be more obvious if I get a smaller size that mold to me better.Overall, nice leggings with a very cute back. I just wish they were a more stretchy material that were 100% squat proof and didn't have an elastic band around the waistband. I still recommend, though!

I’ve been buying Marika leggings for years. They’re always comfy and never see through. These are definitely not sheer and are squat proof. They’re comfy for the most part but the waist seems tighter than normal. I’ve been buying size L for years and even though I’ve lost a bunch of weight in the last six months I still decided to get Large and they’re feeling tight on my belly, which I find odd. For reference I'm 5’4” and 164lbs (very muscular with a belly lol). I’m still keeping them and would always recommend Marika as they have great products overall. Plus I’ll be dieting in a couple of months again ;)

Purchased the charcoal black in small. Fits well as far as true to size, but not flattering at all. Seems to accentuate any imperfections. Material is too thick and itchy, and the waist rolls down a bit with the slightest movement. And the knees seem to bag out a bit. Strange. Too bad because I like the brand.

These leggings are nice. They look good, fit good and are comfy. They are not like cheap thin leggings but they are not as thick as some of the Marika yoga pants I have bought before which is perfect for me. I work in a warehouse where it gets hot but these are light enough to keep me a little cooler than other leggings I have. I have two pair of Victorias secret leggings which are a little thicker and I get hot in those. I also have a pair of thin nylon leggings but I get hot in those too. These leggings are perfect for me. They also feel very durable and they look great.

God I love these leggings so much. They’re so flattering and have nice “hold” up top for those of us without six packs. They don’t roll down or slide down on me like some other leggings do, probably because it’s nice and tight up top, but not too tight. They’re husband-approved for squatting and bending over in the gym, and they just look amazing on. I just bought my 4th pair.

I usually love Marika leggings so I was disappointed when I bought a couple pairs of these. I'm 5'6 and 130 lbs and i bought a medium. They were way too short and went to about my mid calf. They are also very lose around the crotch and knee areas and slide down easily. Not impressed

Sadly, no my favorite pair of pants from this brand. I thought these would be the closest supplement to the line I used to buy from Markia, but it is not. The top of the elastic on these are digging into my skin and quite uncomfy. I bought the same size as my other pairs of the brand of pants (which fit comfortably). However, the material does have a nice feel to it, and seems durable.My pair arrived in plastic packaging and smells of an old smokey building.

I liked everything about these leggings. The are a lovely non see through fabric and comfortable. Some reviewers recommended going up a size, which I did, but I would have been better sticking to my usual size as they are on the big side for me. I do Iyengar Yoga for which they are brilliant.

Absolutely the best yoga/workout pant I’ve ever bought. I bought another pair immediately and sent a pair to my daughter. They are so soft & comfortable & I love the tummy panel

Love the Marika leggings in general! They don’t slide down when running and are completely squat proof. Super soft as well. I may love them more than my Lulu’s…
