This made coloring my hair so much easier. I got my hair done professionally back in November with a purple and blue balayage. Those kinds of colorful toners only last a few hair washes, so I had always planned to touch my own hair up at home with a product I’ve used for years, Keracolor Clenditioner. I would previously just wear nitrile gloves and smear the stuff into my dry hair with my fingers, and it did just an okay job. Finally, I wanted to take things up a notch and looked into Punky Colour. I read in reviews about how much more vibrant the colors could be, but also how staining it is as a result, even with gloves on. That was what I wanted. But it also led me to purchase this kit in an attempt to keep things clean. I had help from my husband to do a really good job; we even cut foil strips to apply the purple and blue to my hair using these bowls and brushes just like a pro stylist would. The kit came with more than I needed for a home job in terms of all the extra brushes, mixers, and clips. The quality of the cape was better than expected, too. I ordered a back up cape thinking this one would be flimsy and small, but the included cape ended up being even better than the backup I ordered. Everything wiped clean, including the bowls, without stains. My hair looks great and we were spared big messes. I’m so pleased. Additionally, the black gloves that came with the kit aren’t necessarily one-time use like I expected. They’re more like the material of rubber kitchen gloves, and my husband said they were very comfortable. This was a very good purchase!

Got this for my mom. It's super utilitarian and good. The only nagging thing is that when I bought it and opened the product, there was this pungent smell. I got this mainly with the cape. But over time, it faded away.

I really like how it has everything you need to stay clean, prepared, protected, have the tools to mix and apply to the hair. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because the hair cap wasn't big enough when I put it on since I have THICK HAIR. I bleached my hair a couple of times and the cheap hair cap couldn't hold all of my hair, so I had to use a plastic bag.

I dye my hair so much! And I use these items all the time!! The black gloves are really good quality! I use the claw clips often but I never use the ear covers. Which are the black little plastic things. And I love how everything came in a little baggie to put everything back inside!

I mostly like the cups. It has different style cups.

Really a good buy! Everything you need to do up your doo. The brushes alone will last me a decade. Above average quality plastic goods. The ear guards are my only complaint. They are hard, light plastic that easily pop off the ear. I tape them to my jaw.
