Works great. It is not loud either. I am glad I ordered it. Fast working too. Great value for the money I paid. So far no jamming. I have only had it a few days. I am very pleased so far.

Well I have gone threw a few shredder unit Over the years, cheap ones to higher ones, Well this unit cut the muster, will shredder 25 sheet at once, it doesn't slow down, it has SS CUTTER DRUM, sharp, it works quite well, no issues, paid more for units, it will last a long time, it a quiet unit. 5 star unit. I recently upgraded to this 18-sheet crosscut paper shredder, and it has exceeded my expectations! Unlike my previous loud shredder, this one runs surprisingly quite. It easily shreds paper, CDs, and credit cards without jamming, thanks to its powerful motor. The six-gallon waste bin is a great size not too small small that it needs constant emptying. The cross-cut feature provides extra security, turning documents into tiny pieces rather than simple strips. Pros: Wheels under the shredder, Large bin (less emptying), Can shred cards and CD's, and Forward and Reverse button feature for paper shredding.

Replaced our old one that wore out. Not the same brand. The Wolverine is so much quieter (there is noise level) and chews up multiple layers of paper well. Only con is that it didn’t shred and old credit card well. That’s not going to happen often, though. Happy with length of run time, 60 minutes, speed and quiet factor. Overall all good item.

This shredder rocks! Love it and it is a beast compared to my last shredder. Got it because of the 18 page and 60 minute run time. Went through two 15 gallon bags non-stop and preformed beautifully!

I purchased this shredder with the understanding that it would have better thermal control than other shredders I had used in the past. I've had this since Oct-2021, so I'v had the opportunity to run it quite a bit. The unit is advertised as having the ability to run up to 60 minutes and shred up to 18 sheets at a time. I realize that it is not rated to shred 18 sheets continuously for 60 minutes, however, I have found that it will shut down on thermal overload after about 10 minutes shredding between 2 and 4 sheets at a time. If you need efficient bulk shredding this is not the unit for you.

Using it to shred cardboard, very powerful and also quiet! It's way quieter than the fellows one I have at work

It's not like the industrial shredder I used to have which likely could have shredded a car, but it is nonetheless a very good shredder. I can put cardboard through this thing, many sheets of paper through it, and it has never failed. Decently large capacity. I use the shredded paper & cardboard as firestarter for my wood stove & in my compost, which works beautifully, especially since I always have so many materials to shred. Keeps piles of paper from making more of a mess than they already do. There is a sensor in the slot which you feed paper through, at right about the center of the slot, so if you happen to feed paper through it which doesn't pass that sensor, it will stop, mid shred. It can happen. Not a big deal. Have not yet had any jams, even when testing shredding paper pulp egg cartons with it, but have tested the reverse button. It's kinda not needed as you can just pull the paper out & feed it through again easily enough. This thing is pretty tough. Have not shredded any old credit cards, gift cards or CDs as of yet because there is no separate bin for those materials, which I think is the only way this shredder is lacking. And because it wont operate without the large bin attached - an annoying safety feature but one which I can understand due to the bare blades being accessible when you open the bin - it makes that secondary slot rather useless. I suppose I could put a small bin or box in there to catch plastic shards when necessary, but have not tried that yet. I could see forgetting it's in there & then having a mess of everything mixed up. To the manufacturer: integrate a separate small bin into the shredder for this purpose. It would make the overall design of this paper shredder better. Not the quietest shredder, but it also doesn't sound like a chainsaw indoors. Not a big deal. It's not like it's running all the time making a racket. Despite the small drawback of not having a separate bin for catching plastic shreds, this is definitely a shredder I would buy again. Made in Hong Kong, which is a whole lot better than typically Made In China products. If you've ever been to Hong Kong, you'd understand why.
