Super lovely color, I'm so happy to have a case in this vibrant deep violet for my switch!Easy to install and IS DOCKABLE in my experience (with some squeeze). I use amfilm's glass screen protector for reference. The case was a bit finicky to install onto the joycons but I feel like that is inevitable for hard shell switch cases. Some pros and cons:***PROS***- Dockable!! (*with some squeezing, see cons list)- Soft, matte velvety feel- Gorgeous color- Cutouts are designed in a way to give maximum coverage and protection to the switch***CONS***- Plastic is on the thinner side. It's a great case for adults, but feels like it wouldn't be able to withstand heavy use from kids or high drops- there are some gaps along the joycon top plate seam/bottom plate where it is closed, but not even along the seams i.e there is a larger seam gap near the bottom of the plate than the top, etc. It isn't very noticable but it does detract from the quality a bit.- the tabs that keep the joycon top plates connecting to the bottom are tiny and very fragile- installation on joycons is a bit rough - if you're not careful you can end up scratching the joycons like I did- when docking the switch it is very tight, especially when pushing down to connect it, you can feel the dock bulge a little bit. No scratches on the case from docking yet but I would definitely recommend to have a screen protector if docking with this case.- with most hard cases, it makes the joycons unusable with the joycon controller adapter and rear buttons to detach joycons are hard to accessOverall the list of cons might look long but I'm definitely nitpicking and really happy with this case, and definitely grateful it's dockable. I have had this case for a few days and will update in a few months hopefully.

Really easy to get on. No trouble getting the Joy cons on and off. It does not come with a screen protector, just the hard shell. This color is beautiful. I was worried it wouldn't fit into the switch case, but it fits in just fine. I can dock it as well. Overall, happy with this purchase.

If you are wondering what the difference between these and the GeekShare colored shells are...They are pretty much identical.In my photos, the Switch on the TOP has the blue and green shells from GeekShare. The Switch on the BOTTOM has the dark grayish violet and rhapsody violet from eXTremeRate (which, as you can see, is pretty much grey). Note that I'm not using the console shells on either.The only difference I can see from the product quality is that, as other reviewers have noted, every piece of the eXTremeRate shells has a contact point on the inside that isn't get spray painted (shown in my last pic)... But since you can't see that once it's on the Switch, it doesn't really impact the look & feel of the product overall.tldr; if you are deciding between eXTremeRate and GeekShare, which one you choose comes down to the color options and price.

Slim, shiny, color-changing, and dockable! AND affordable! LOVE this case. This is exactly what I needed to spice up my gear.

So pretty! I'm obsessed with the colors! It fits great and it's easy to hold. I always feel so much better having some kind of protection on my switch.

This case doesn't really fit all that well. The JoyCon covers fit close enough to perfect, although they do lift up a little bit in the back. The piece that goes around the console does not fit correctly at all. The bottom can't seem to grip all the way around to the front. I check to make sure screws on the switch are screwed down deep so that there is room for the nubs on the case to fall into, but that hasn't helped the back console cover fit correctly. Because the back plate doesn't fit correctly, I cannot dock my Switch and have to remove that piece every time. Super disappointed.

It is clean and smooth and sleek and fits my dock AND travel case with ease. Money well spent! Just note that this case is AESTHETIC only. It will not protect your device from any type of falls.

The media could not be loaded.  I really love the colour of the case, however, just from opening it today I noticed a few issues. The first is that the case is too thick to dock, unless you remove the back plate. The second is that it can be quite difficult to detach the joycons from the switch because of the design, the backing is too thick and the buttons to detach the joycons are too small. I think this case would be perfect for people who prefer handheld play since the plastic is very comfortable in my opinion also for people who just need the extra protection on the go. Overall the case is alright.

perfection, the exact thing I was looking for. Of course it’s a little bit tighter in the dock but I can’t image any damage being done. Colour is lovely, and I didn’t even notice when ordering but it has the little bumps on the bottom of the joy or a that make holding it easier in handheld mode!!!! On top of that the texture is lovely and for the price it was excellent.

Love it. Great shell for extra protection. The case would be damaged or break first if dropped but I wouldn't expect the case to stay in tact or on the device during impact. Due to its click together and a few individual parts, they would detach at least with some force.I find it fits very well and makes it easier to hold with the extra hump on the back under rear keys.The right controller piece has some movement and creaks a bit but doesn't bother me.Has a really nice texture or coating to it, suede like almost. Decent paint job internally and externally.

Overall, decent quality. However. The buttons all end up sunk below the plastic, which makes pressing them slightly difficult. This on it's own would probably have had me leave a 4 star review, but the joycon covers have little bits sticking out of the bottom. Fine if you use them in the unit or on their own, but if, like me, you use the controller, these bits stop them from sliding into it. Overall, decent item, just badly designed.

Looks great, feels great, easy to clip on but has one major flaw - the button covers.The little two-sided stickers to place underneath the red button caps are almost impossible to use.The have a small paper cover to protect one side and it’s so tiny and practically impossible to take off. I had to resort to buying my own two-sided tape and cutting it to size myself. But hey, when I see “made in China” on the bag from something I order online, I usually expect this kind of nonsense.All in all, I would recommend, but do yourself a favour and purchase your own sticky tape from eBay or a local store first.
