These are great little magnets. Do the job well of holding a door shut.

What I do like.:They do the job well.The magnets are strong.They are good valueThey look nice (hope they won't rust/discolour)What I don't like:It would be better if the magnets weren't rigid - other types I've used in the past were more forgiving as the magnetic prongs could move in or out, which pretty much guaranteed that maximum magnet strength was achieved (the smallest misalignment would result in a significant reduction in magnetic strength).With flexible prongs would also make these suitable for use when the two surfaces can't be touching (which is often the case with cupboard doors) .The steel plate should be about 1/2 cm longer ( to ensure that the magnets strike the ferrous plate rather than any risk touching the screws (which would give a little more flexibility in installation. Making the plate a few mm wider would help too.Overall, these are good value and are fit for purpose.
