Hartline 10006 Rockite Cement 15 Min 5 Lb, No Size, White, 80 Ounce

I had an area in my patio that dipped down and always collected water in that area. I used Rockite with "SikaLatex R" acrylic bonding agent and mixed that in and got it to a fairly thin consistency. I then spread a little SikaLatex R which is like Elmer's glue but thinner over the area where I wanted the Rockite to flow and pored the mixture right on the top of a cement Within 5 minutes, it was set up to the point where I could put a broom finish on it. Within 15, it was rock solid and no more pooling as it self levels and expands a bit. No edge cracking, solid bond to the existing cement and no bubbles or cracks of any kind. I also used a hydraulic fluid extractor and sealed the gap between the house stucco and the cement pad where ants were getting into the house. No more ants. It took 2 applications though and some deeper areas 3 but worth it knowing that it flowed all the way past the cement pad and creating a good bond. This is really amazing material and quite handy to have around.

I did my research and landed on this brand of concrete for my craft projects. It’s easy to mix, hardens very fast and mixes well with liquids. I used acrylic paint to color these. Make sure you mix the paint with water before adding the concrete powder. I like the quickness of curing. I have a small business and sell my goods to small local shops for resale. So I need to produce quickly! You can use resin molds like I have and they work like a charm! Concrete is the choice when making candle jars, candle holders or incense burners. It has a high heat tolerance and won’t melt or warp like plastics and resins. I wish I saw a review like mine when doing my research. It would have made it so much easier!

Worked great for what I needed it to. All I used it for was to fill the interior of my mailbox to keep it sturdy (the people in my neighborhood run into mailboxes a lot for whatever reason). Mixed just fine and is hard as a rock

When they talk about drying fast, they aren't kidding. Mixing it is like trying to get pancake batter just right. Tip: use a lot less water. I tried two different mixtures, one with lots of water and the other with very little. The low water batch was malleable and easy to apply. I could adjust and push it where needed. The second batch I added way too much water. I was churning a soupy mix with a baking spatula for 7-8 minutes. It still dries in the prescribed time no matter what though. In a couple minutes it went from the consistency of melted ice cream, to pancake batter, to silly putty, to solid rock. Forget a putty knife, it was drying so fast I had to just grab and apply with my hand in a mad panic. As far as stress is concerned, I think where it fails is bending and shearing stress. It can survive compression and tension well. Grab a piece with both hands and bend; it will snap like spaghetti. That is of course in the uncured state, right after it hardens. Letting it cure, greatly improves the quality. Also, it doesn't cover much. I seriously underestimated how much I would need. I bought one bag, but I am going to have to buy at least 3 more bags to complete the sealing project I had going on. Overall I am satisfied, but learned a hard set of lessons from the first couple batches.

Used it to fill some small gaps in a concrete deck & concrete steps mostly on the sides. Mixed up very small batches no bigger than what fit in the palm of my hand. Tuff to get the exact consistency for it to be moldable so it wouldn't just sag out of the openings to be sealed. First little batch went hard on me before I got it applied. Had to throw that out & the plastic cup it hardened in. It hardens in just seconds once it reaches the moment in time to harden. I smoothed the side surfaces by wearing a vinyl glove that I then dipped my gloved hand into water. The wet glove made the surface easy to smooth but even glove could not have too much water on it or concrete would go soft and sag out. Doing a horizontal surface was very easy. Just mix it up slightly pourable then spoon into the opening to be sealed, level it and it's tendency to sag into place makes it self leveling to a perfect smooth surface.

Our new house has a front porch with an iron railing that had the bottom leg originally set in mortar which had deteriorated. The railing was wobbly. I researched what quick concrete to use to set a post or railing and came upon Rocket. I cleaned the hole in the brick that housed the railing leg, mixed up a plastic cup of the Rocket to a consistency that could be poured. I anchored the railing leg into the proper position and poured the Rocket into the hole up to the top. After 30 minutes, the railing as fixed and immovable. It's now been a few weeks and the Rocket is obviously completely cured. That railing will never budge or come out. This is very good stuff if setting a post is your project.

It was easily mixed to the consistancy I needed to support the ground sleeve for my clothesline, dried quickly as well...i could visibly see it absorbing the water after 20 minutes. It was rock hard in an hour but i waited several hours before i covered it with gravel and soil removed from the hole i dug. The price was great as was the quality and ease of use. I will definitely be ordering it again for future projects.

This was used for a shower floor repair - it worked excellent!! The area was about 18" square and I used the entire box Was easy to mix and use - and you have to move fast once it's mixed I added some small pebbles to this after I laid it down to match the existing floor - it worked great! Highly recommend it
