First, I highly recommend this door. It’s our second one. We left our first one in a house we sold. My ONLY issue was that this one was not packaged safely and arrived with the glass completely shattered. It was imbedding in everything. We had to cover the broken glass with thick duct tape just to return it in a new box or the post office wouldn’t accept it. It’s the first time we received a package from Amazon like that in over 15 years. It looked like it was opened then taped shut. Not new as advertised, which probably explains what happened. They were wonderful about a refund. Again, this a a great door! Highly recommend.

The door was easy to install and has held up well. This door has made life easier for my wife and me as well as our Boston Terrier.

Our dogs have a new-found independence and I no longer have to listen to them ringing their person-slave door bell when they want to go out! It took a few days and lots of treats to convince my shy pups to use the door, but now they’re in & out all day long without assistance. The door is steady and relatively well insulated. We’ve had the door up for 6 months without a problem. Super happy with the purchase. I have had the door installed for 4 years now and we can no longer live without it. It’s still as sturdy as ever (even with my Jack Russell running through it full speed). Dogs love it, cat loves it, humans love it. Raccoon peaked in once but thankfully decided he didn’t love it.

Connecting bars were missing, and the stupid chat bot is absolutely useless. I hope to call and talk to someone tomorrow. Please, say your customer service is closed for the evening, and to call in the morning. Your idiotic chat bot is responsible for this lousy review. Or allow me to order the missing parts. What is the matter with you? Online videos do not explain why every brand of sliding glass door I have ever owned does not align with the dog door or why the dog door does not fit the same track as the glass door; usually, it fits in one of the adjacent tracks or interior tracks. This problem is not documented anywhere. I guess I am special, and everyone else, especially in the videos, is just lucky. Making doors on adjacent tracks lock is really changing. I tried to order this for my home in Mexico, but it is not available there even though it is manufactured there. So, I had to import it via a freight forwarder and pay a 19% tariff (soon to have an additional 25% added) for something manufactured here in Mexico. That must be one of the dumbest tariffs. Do they realize that they are placing a tariff on their manufactured goods? I am going to protest the tariff and try to find the factory in Mexico and bypass the middle man in the U.S. This is crazy. I feel so sorry for Mexicans.

Perfect for my two Jack Russells. One my dogs is blind. He learned quickly how to go in and out. The height is perfect, so he doesn't trip or have to jump through the door. The top is spring loaded, so it makes it easy to remove the door, as it's only temporary during the hours I'm working from home. I bought some extra weather stripping, because the roll they provided was too thin to fill in the voids, where my sliding door is warped. I improvised the black seal strip and used it for covering the outside gap (panel to door), to help ward off insects and weather. Because the panel is temporary, I made sure to put a separate seal strip on the spring loaded section and had it over lap without sticky side on lower half. So when I go to take it out for the night, I'm not damaging the seal. I didn't use the lock or t-brackets included since the panel is only temporary. A quick way to get your dog out the door... yell squirrel!!!

My Doggie door arrived with a metal piece missing, Phoned Amazon and in 3 days had a complete replacement In these Hard times and seemingly no service available anymore, What a GGREAT SERVICE And dollar for dollar-What a great Doggie Door it is and priced to own. We have had this dog door for our miniature schnauzer for about a year. It took her about a week to get used to going in and out of it. After that she loves to be able to go outside on her own. She does not even want to be walked any more. She likes to use the door to go outside and bask in the sun or cool off if she is hot. We bought the medium sized dog door. The price is a little to expensive. We used a plastic pipe and cut about a third of it off long ways so that the sliding door will not remain open. The dog door comes with a door lock but in requires drilling etc which may allow bugs to enter your house.

I overall like the door. Screw designation was not clear in instructions. Weatherstripping use was not clear where it went and lock system had no template as mentioned. Still not sure what ro do with the gap where the original door lock was. The pet door is not as thick as the slider so you see the cavity from the outside. Just right for a prybar for someone to break in. It would be nice if an adjustable safety bar was included for the slider side.

Rated a star lower because the price was raised. Expensive for the materials used, it was way cheaper a few months ago when I first saw it, but fits perfectly for my balcony door. The flap is a bit heavy, my cats manage to push it most of the time but my Pomeranian puppy can’t so I removed the flap for the time being but will have to return it when it gets warmer

Tras vivir en California (y muchísimas casas tienen esta puerta) me decidí a comprarla. Para ser honestos, me costó encontrarla y había pensado hacerla en madera y comprar la puerta puesto que el precio para la M (208€) es muy por encima de lo que vale en EEUU (75$). La calidad es excelente, mi puerta hace 206 y tuvimos que ponerle unas arandelas en la parte superior para darle un 1,5 cm más. La instalación fue con las T, se oculta perfectamente el agujero dentro de la guía de la puerta del piso y si se tiene que retirar la puerta es perfecta. El montaje es extremadamente sencillo y viene en dos partes. Cómo punto de mejora, añadiría un burlete más para el otro lado de la puerta.
